Major Lazer is an American electronic dance music trio, consisting of Diplo, Walshy Fire, and Ape Drums. Their past members have included Jillionare and Switch. Since their inception in 2008 they've released a total of four studio albums, including Guns Don't Kill People... Lazers Do, (2009), Free the Universe, (2013), Peace Is The Mission, (2015), and Music Is the Weapon, (2020), one compilation album, which is Major Lazer Essentials, (2018), four remix albums, which included Lazer Strikes Back Vol. 1, (2013), Lazer Strikes Back Vol. 2, (2013), Lazer Strikes Back Vol. 3, (2013), and Lazer Strikes Back Vol. 4, (2013), five mixtapes, which includes Major Lazer Essential Mix (available as podcast), (2009), Lazerproof (with LaRoux), (2010), Major Lazer Summer Mix), (2010), Major Lazer Workout Mix, (2013), and Major Lazer's Walshy Fire presents: Jesse Royal - Royally Speaking, and six extended plays, which are Lazers Never Die, (2010), Original Don, (2011), Apocalypse Soon, (2014), Know No Better, (2017), Africa is the Future, (2019), and Soca Storm, (2020).

Television series[]
A Major Lazer animated series premiered April 16, 2015, on FXX. Diplo serves as co-creator and executive producer of the show.[2]
