Jamie Aboro Adenuga[1] (born May 4, 1985 )[2], better known as his stage name JME or YouTube name ManBetterKnow, is an English MC and YouTube personality. He is associated with the Sidemen.
About[]
Jamie was born in Hackney, into a family who are originally from Nigeria. He grew up in Tottenham in North London where he lived in a council house. He attended St. Paul's School and then Winchmore School in Enfield along with his brother Skepta.
Adenuga subsequently graduated from University of Greenwich receiving a First Class Honours in 3D Digital Design.
JME has a YouTube channel called ManBetterKnow, on which has over 400,000 subscribers. Although many know him as JME, other MCs and some fans know him simply as Jamie.
Career[]
Jme started his passion for producing by making mobile phone ringtones. He later used Mario Paint, Game Boy Camera, Fruity Loops, and then a mixture of Pro Tools and Logic Studio.
Jme also co-owns Uptown Records, his own T-shirt chain, (bearing the labels of himself), his record label Boy Better Know, and his dormant nightclub Straight Outta Bethnal.
He released his debut album Famous?', as well as an album through a major label with the whole of Boy Better Know.
Jme released a single "Over Me" in September 2009. He followed this single with another, "Sidetracked", which featured Wiley followed by "CD is Dead", that featured Tempa T. These three singles are featured on his second studio album, Blam!, which was released on 4 October 2010. He released Integrity on 4 May 2015.
Sidemen[]
JME is close friends with the YouTube group Sidemen. He hosted the Extreme Forfeit Sidemen Quiz on the Sidemen channel, he has also participated in other Sidemen videos such as Sidemen Family Fourtunes and Sidemen Deal or No Deal.He has also done collabs with the Sidemen members on their individual channels as well.
He is especially close with Zerkaa as they are cousins and have known each other since they were 8.
JME also played in all three Sidemen Charity Football Matches.
JME has also made two songs with KSI - Keep Up and Pull Up.
JME also made a song with the Sidemen named Merry Merry Christmas.[3]
Personal life[]
JME is the brother of Beats 1 DJ and radio host Julie Adenuga, fellow grime artist SKEPTA and graphic designer and producer Jason.[4]
JME is married to his his longtime girlfriend, Sarah Cavanagh, in August 2016. Their daughter, Rosè, was born in May 2018.[5][6]

- JME is a vegan and teetotaler.[7]
- JME met with Labour Party leader Jeremy Corbyn during the 2017 UK general election, Jamie encourage people to register to vote, with JME saying "I'm on Jeremy's Snapchat to make sure you register to vote."[8]
