Matthew K. C. "Matt" Wong[1][2][3] (born: March 25, 1996 (1996-03-25) [age 28]),[4][5] better known online as MattKC (formerly MattiKC),[6] is a YouTuber from New South Wales, Australia. His main type of content is tech and gaming, though he used to make comedy sketches, TV shows, movies, game riffs and some other content.

About[]

Matt is an Australian. His first YouTube channel was created on July 10th, 2009 called "iratgamer". He originally posted parody video game reviews, parodying the video game reviewer Irate Gamer, who was known for plagiarizing another video game reviewer, The Angry Video Game Nerd, and getting information wrong most of the time. He stopped in 2015 after the Irate Gamer became a dead topic. He also had another old channel, "Noroji Entertainment", which got abandoned around 2016. Later he created the channel MattKC on October 27th, 2015. He made varied types of content, but when his video "Installing Windows 98 on a Modern Laptop" went viral, he switched mainly to making Tech videos. As of March 20th, 2020, it has gained over 1.2 million views.

He works a lot on editing and fixing bugs from the 1997 game "Lego Island". He created his own patcher for the bugs in the game called "Lego Island Rebuilder" on GitHub. It fixes a specific issue in the game where the turn speed is far too high and it can change many other settings and add features like replacing the music files with your own music or the higher quality Lego Island music. He is also known for finding the Japanese Version of Lego Island and posting it on the Internet Archive on September 22, 2020. He posted a video about it on YouTube on December 5, 2020.

As of June 11, 2023, Matt has 3 other channels called MattKC Live (previously MattKC 1.5), MattKC Music, and MattKC Dumping Ground. His main channel has over 30 million views and 370,000 subscribers while his other channels all add up to over 9,000 subscribers.
