Matthew Edward "Matt" Shea (born: August 30, 1993), better known online as MattShea (formerly MattShea369) is a Canadian gamer residing in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. In his channel's early days, he was often called a Wizward (after a fan misspelled the word wizard as "wizward").
Personal life[]
He is from Nain, Newfoundland and studied neuroscience at Memorial University, Newfoundland. In one of his YouTube videos, he introduces his ex-wife, Ashley, announcing that the two had split up mutually April 23, 2019. He has also has 2 siblings, both in medical school—Mark who's 24 and Whitney who's 26. He has 7 pets—has 2 dogs named Luka and Thea, 3 cats named Will, Mia (deceased), and Ella, and two rabbits. Currently, he is 5 feet and 11 inches (5'11") He once dyed his eyebrows blue.
Shea is famous for his Besiege, The Sims, Goat Simulator, Grand Theft Auto, The Battle Cats, My Singing Monsters, and Duck Life YouTube gaming videos. On September 2018, he created the "Shayy" channel for uploading reaction content, mainly around Cursed Ads and the subreddit Make Me Suffer, which he owns.

- Tomato Gaming/SleepinGamer: Matt did various collaborative videos with Tomato and Sleepin in 2015 doing a two short GTA Online series' while also participating in the Serial Vs Civilian series[1] a few times as well.

- His birth sign is "Virgo".
- In Serial vs Civilian episode "Soggy Socks", Matt found and used the HVY Docktug which is considered one of the rarest vehicles in GTA Online.[2].
- His three most viewed YouTube uploads include "Your Privates are never safe", "The Sims 4 - ROMANCE EVERYWHERE - My own grandpa #7" and "All the way with Amy! (House Party)".
- MattShea's biggest hater is a Youtuber named Mattshea Sucks (Now goes by Saje's wacky world of faces since his original channel was deleted). MattShea made a video on him and after that, Mattshea Sucks disappeared, but came back and MattShea interviewed him to see if he still hated him.
