―Yummer's Classic Intro

Jared West (born: June 16, 2004 (2004-06-16) [age 20])[1], better known online as McYum or Yummers, (also known as YummersMummers) is an English gaming YouTuber who uploads skit videos that is based around the video game Minecraft. His old channel, Yummers usually involve the concept of "Free Robux" events inside Roblox.

Channels[]

McYum Shorts[]

McYum Shorts acts as McYum's second channel. Here he only posts YouTube shorts and not full videos. The shorts vary in topic.

Yummers[]

Yummers was one of Jared's old channels. It reached just over 700K subscribers, and content would usually revolve around the concept of "Free Robux" inside the game Roblox.

The Yummers channel was created in March 2018. In 2018, the Yummers channel centred around making joke commentary videos, usually involving whatever memes were popular at the time, (Fortnite, Big Chungus, Baldi's Basics, etc). An example of one of these videos titles was, *BREAKING!!* NINJA TAKING DRUGS WHILE PLAYING FORTNITE! (Proof and Evidence). Around the end 2018, Yummers would release the first video that involved the concept of "free robux". In the video, Yummers explained that if you used the promo code, "BIGMANBILLY", you would get free robux. Yummers originally made this video as a joke to troll people, but quickly realised that videos involving free robux got more views than the joke videos. It was at this point that Yummers would slowly begin to phase out the comedy style videos, and focus more on the free robux content instead. At this point, his videos became blatant clickbait.

From January 2019 to May 2019, Yummers would focus primarily on the free robux and promo code videos, but keep the comedy style he had used before. In May 2019, Yummers would suddenly drop almost all the comedy from his videos, such as his classic intro and the voice he put on. The videos would become almost entirely centred around free robux after this point. Jared would later comment on these videos stating that they had "No integrity". Yummers videos would sometimes involve other characters such as Military Dave, who would help with a challenge or giveaway. The thumbnails and titles on the Yummers channel usually included somewhat misleading information, stating that there were methods to get free robux, but in reality, it was usually a video of an event he had given robux away at. Yummers did give free robux to his fans through many different methods such as :

  • Roblox obbys (obstacle courses)
  • Unspecified Challenges
  • Randomly choosing a comment on a video

In most videos, Yummers would usually end of giving around 2-3 people free robux. At one point, Yummers decided to try and push a new type of video. These videos were mostly based around Yummers finding someones "secret base" and trying to get in. An example of this was a video were he joined a game with a fake Roblox main account. These videos would not be as successful, and he ended up returning to making free robux content.

Rivalries[]

Yummers had many rivalries from 2018 to 2020. One of his first enemies was a Roblox character called Stephen Smith, who would usually bully Yummers. Whilst this character was most likely played by his brother, he did go after other YouTubers. He made a diss track against Callums Corner in 2018, after calling him "bean head" in a livestream chat. He also made a diss track on the Roblox YouTuber GrayPhiny, who would go on to make the same free robux content that Yummers did. Later on, the small YouTuber PurPurPiller would accuse Yummers of making fake clickbait videos that spread misinformation. Yummers would choose to ignore these accusations.

Termination[]

In April 2020, the Yummers channel was terminated. This was due in part to a flagging effort by other YouTube creators, and YouTube cracking down on some channels that made free robux content at the time. Jared would eventually choose not to try and resurrect the Yummers channel, as he didn't enjoy making the free robux videos. At the time he was terminated, he was at about 730,000 subscribers.

Unbanning[]
On January 10, 2024 a bunch of free roblox channels got unbanned, such as Robuxian, Hydra - Roblox and many more. But from these unbanned Roblox channels Yummers Was included, unbanning the Yummers channel and putting it back on YouTube for everyone to see again like an archive. Jared and his friend Sipover are aware of this, since Sipover commented that Yummers is back on the last Yummers video and Yummers even hearted it. As of January 30, 2024, nothing new is going on with the Yummers channel, the only thing it's doing as of now is losing subscribers.

Yums[]

Yummers' second channel Yums is basically the same thing as his main channel.

History[]

When he first launched the channel it was called "Yommers" but as soon as he changed the Profile Picture for his main channel he has changed it to Yums. The channel was also rebranded to "BabyDave" for a short period of time, but was changed back to Yums not long after.

Hacked[]

In March 2021, Yums was supposedly hacked. The "hacker" uploaded fake free robux videos, and was making fun of Yummers. Such as saying "WITH THE ROBUX MY FRIEND GOT FROM THIS OBBY, HE GOT THIS COOL BACKPACK!" which was apperently free and didn't cost any robux. There is no real harm done, as Yummers had moved onto McYum at this point. The "hacker" also sounded somehwat like the YouTuber Sipover. Jared may have given Sipover access to the channel, and it was not actually hacked at all, but this is unconfirmed either way. After it was "hacked", all of it's videos were deleted, but one video was left unlisted as the channel trailer.

In April 2022, the Yums channel has been rebranded as "IndiePlays", reuploading content from a small channel with the same name. On May 2022, the Yums channel has been rebranded again as "KittyPlays!", and just after that it was rebranded back to Yums again with a new Profile Picture. It republicated 4 old Yums videos, incluing the video with "Hacker Sipover", all the videos went private again and on May 29, 2022 the Yums channel uploaded a video titled "So a scammer tried to STEAL my Roblox account..." after that the channel stopped uploading. And as of July 2022, that's where the story of Yums ends for now.

happydave[]

happydave (now called "callmedave") was another channel created by Jared, that used to make the exact same content as Yummers. Jared (playing his Yummers persona) claims that happydave was an "ex roblox admin", that had the ability to create promo codes that give out free robux. He told his followers to subscribe to happydave, even though it was actually just him putting on a different accent to not seem like Yummers, and appear as a different person.

History[]

The happydave channel was created on December 19th, 2018. But Jared didn't start doing anything with it until May, 2019, in which Military Dave uploaded a disstrack against Yummers. This is were the happydave channel uploaded a response diss track titled: "MY LORD YUMMERS - MILITARY DAVE DISSTRACK". Playing his Yummers persona, Jared would react to the disstrack and shoutout happydave. On June 1st, 2019 the happydave channel would already have around 250 subscribers due to the shoutout.

Between June and July, Jared would upload more videos on happydave in the same style was the Yummers videos. Happydave would reach over 10,000 subscribers on July 1st, 2019. He would continue uploading the same content.

On December 1st, 2019 the happydave channel would have over 30,000 subscribers, and suddently the happydave channel blew up, going from 30,000 to 50,000 in just half a month. Just before Yummers was terminated, the happydave channel had over 400,000 subscribers.

When Yummers was terminated, Jared would deleted and private all of the videos of the happydave channel. He would start uploading again but he didn't get as many views as the other videos did. He tried uploading more content to save the happydave channel. Eventually he stopped uploading. It is unknown when this happened but he changed his channel name from happydave to callmedave.

In July 2021, every single video that Jared ever uploaded on the callmedave channel was deleted once again, and he did not return. On November 19th, 2021. Jared would return to the callmedave channel with a new video titled "where i've been... (sad)" which seemed to mimic the style of his older Yummers videos.A few months but later come back and make a video titled "fake pet simulator videos be like". For the first 4 days of October he uploaded 4 new joshiemah/SuperSakura style videos. Jared hasn't uploaded on the channel ever since.

  • Short Fact: Jared was in an interview playing his happydave persona and completely denied being Yummers, even though they are obviously the same person.

Jared West[]

When the Jared West channel was created, it was first called Jaggey uploading gaming videos, however when he started investing money on multiple social media, Jared started to private all his gaming videos on the channel, and upload more finance videos, which would gain way more traction than the gaming ones.

On Semptember 29, 2020, he would upload "How I Earned $100,000 at Age 16", explaining the growth of his channels Jaggey Jape, Yummers, happydave and Jared West. After that he continued onto McYum and never uploaded on the channel again for 2 years, because as said for the next Jared West video: "The idea for another Jared West video was draining". On July 2022, Jared would upload a video on the Jared West channel explaining the growth on McYum, titled: How I Earned $500,000 at Age 17.

jw[]

jw is Jared's second channel for Jared West, where he gives advice for his fans. The channel was created in 2016 though, it's still unknown what this channel was in the past.

Jaggey Jape[]

Jaggey Jape is Jared's old channel that he made when he was 11, that used to upload gaming videos. As of July 2022 it's inactive.

DogeBux[]

DogeBux's (formerly PoshPete) intent is unknown, but people believe the channel was another attempt to try and get views and money, just like Yummers and happydave.

McYum Is Yummers Theory[]

People theorized that Yummers was the Minecraft YouTuber McYum for a while. The evidence was that both their names were very similar. The voice of Yummers was also very close to that of McYum, and McYum's brother sounded almost identical to Yummers' friend/rival, Military Dave. Yummers also posted a video of him playing Minecraft on his second channel, which revealed he was playing on the McYum account. The final piece that connect the two is that McYum's videos were posted on Reddit by someone named Jared, which has been confirmed to be Jared West. Yummers' real name is also Jared West, so that proves that Yummers is the same guy that runs the finance channel Jared West, and Jared has said on an interview that he was McYum, which proves Yummers is McYum.

Interviews[]

Jared loves being in many interviews. As stated earlier, he was in an interview playing his Happy/CallmeDave persona. He also was in an interview in August of 2020, and one uploaded on February 25, 2021 by Nicocun. On this interview he confirms that he is McYum, and proceeds to show the play button.

About[]

McYum was trying to get to 1 million subscribers before 2022, which he succeeded in. He also tried to get to 1 million subscribers before 2021, which he failed at.
