Yozora Mel (夜空メル) is a Japanese former VTuber associated with Hololive, as part of its first generation of VTubers alongside Aki Rosenthal, Natsuiro Matsuri, Shirakami Fubuki, and Akai Haato.

Yozora Mel opened her Twitter account on 16 April 2018 while her YouTube channel was started on 25 April although her introduction video was not uploaded until 13 May. Her first video was her cover of Valentines Kiss,[1] followed by her channel trailer. Unlike most Vtubers she never had an introduction debut stream. Her next videos were also song covers, but eventually launched a chatting stream where she introduced herself, although this was after a two month hiatus.[2] Two months later, on 1 June, she reached 50,000 YouTube subscribers. Mel is the first hololive member to be part of a generation to debut, debuting half a month earlier than the other members, (she is also the third hololive member to debut ever, after Tokino Sora and Roboco-san). This also makes her the first member to debut with a 2D model.
The first games she ever played were Onryo, which was also a collaboration with Amane Kanata, and Danganronpa, which was her a collaboration with Tokoyami Towa.[3][4] She has also played Little Witch Nobita, Overcooked 2, APEX Legends, Super Bunny Man and Rat Simulator.[5][6][7][8][9] However her favorite gaming series would be the Resident Evil games.
Termination[]
On January 16, 2024, Hololive announced Mel was terminated from the company for breach of contract, specifically leaking company secrets. Mel later admitted that the breach of contract was accidental before later accepting her termination on mutual terms.

- Her character designer is Ayamy who also designed Hanamori Healthy of "Melty+", Kogure Piyoko of WACTOR and herself.[10]
- Her current Live2D modeler is Jujube and her 3D modeller is tomitake.[11][12]
- She is 154cm.
- Her favorite drink is cherry juice.
