  • Hello, Bvrrybomb.

Having moderation rights is very important on Wikitubia and helps keep Wikitubia stabilized and professional. Reviewing your contributions, you have not been using these rights nor have you been as active here on Wikitubia. I will ask if you can attempt to be more active to Wikitubia? If so, you will not risk losing your moderation rights.

If you have any questions, please let me know. Thank you!

  • You haven't been editing as much as you did before. How is everything?

  • How do you redirect pages?

Usually I go on the page and quickly change the page name and change it back and it will be left with the redirect. But I'm seeing your contributions and you do it differently without having to actually re-name the page and name it back.

    • No problem, a few months ago you said that you might want to do interviews with YouTubers, now that you’re a Moderator you have the right to do that. Do you think you want to do interviews?

        Loading editor
    • Yeah I'd like that

    • Awesome, there here are 3 things that you need to do to conduct a interview with a YouTuber.

The first thing that you need to do is ask the YouTuber if they want to do a interview, if the YouTuber has a business email you can sent them a email saying you want to do a interview with them. For YouTubers that don’t have a business email you can leave a comment on the YouTubers newest video or if you have a Twitter account you can send them a message on Twitter.

The second thing that you need to do is if the YouTuber responds to you saying they want to do a interview, you need to make an list of questions and send the questions to the YouTuber.

And the third thing that you need to do is when the YouTuber responds to you with the answers you need to make the interview into a interview page and then post it on the interviews page of YouTube Wiki.

There is only one rule about interviewing YouTubers, that is YouTubers need a minimum of 1,000 subscribers to do a interview with them.

It’s pretty easy to do a interview once you get the hang of it. Let me know if you have any other questions about it.

  • I just noticed you recently became a moderator and content moderator, good job. Cool. Mazel tav!

  • As you know by now, I recently became a bureaucrat on this wiki. Me and Aidan Dunphy been thinking and thought about making you a content mod here for about a month or two. John is allowing me to mod people if trusted and I think it's that time you get them, and of course, along with some other people, I trust you

Keep up the great work! If you want to know how content mod works, just let me know

    • Thank you so much!! That would be awesome. If I could have some sort of breif on the role and my permissions that would be really helpful!

I'd also like to mention that I've been caught up with a lot of things recently so I'd be somewhat inactive around this month of December, though I am trying to login and edit whenever possible

    • Alright then, no problem.

You are allowed to lock and delete pages now. You are good at finding pages with low information and / or has less than 500 subs. I also wanna mention if there is a page that is blank, check the history to see if it wasn't vandalized by someone. You also have rollback where it's easier to undo someone's edits. If you see someone doing vandal edits, you can use rollback and that person's edit wont show on "recent wiki activity" anymore.

Best time to lock a page is to semi-protect a page (block new and unregistered users) if it's edited a lot to prevent any future vandalism. And you can fully protect a page (admins and moderators only) only if there is an edit warrant going on. Fully protect it for a week and try to settle the warrant, and it should be settled by the time it is a week. And if the warrant is settled early, you can unprotect it.

If there's an edit warrant, ask the 2 about their edits and choose which is good information to be placed (with research or clear enough proof).

Also you are of course allowed to edit pages that are for mods and admins only

  • Hey Bvrry. I removed 'YouTube Kids' category you made because it's not a valid category or administrated yet. If you wish to add a category for a chunk of YouTube channels, ask all the active admins here and we'll see how many yes's and no's we get to finalize. Me, I dont think we should because, if these kids turn 18, we take away the category. And it will double the job from regular categories. Other categories we just add. Not necessarily remove as long as it's a valid category

    • Ahh I see! I created the channel since while editing a page I stumbled upon a "Kids Channels " category (which should be removed I expect) with two users attatched to it and figured to move them to another category to fit the name style of "YouTubers by Genre". I also found this Abridger YouTubers  category with nothing attatched to it, which I don't believe belongs there either.

Regarding a YouTube Kids category or something similar, I feel like if a "Kids" category were to exist it would refer to whether they produce child-friendly content, or "Kids Entertainment", rather than the child being under 18. So a channel run by adults or, an animated channel per say, could also fall into this category without any expiration, but that's just my thoughts on the matter.

      Thanks!

    • Yes YouTubers need a minimum of 1,000 subscribers to interview them. And as for the questions go they don’t have a specific format, the only reason why most of the interviews have the same questions is because I did most of the interviews, out of the 59 interviews I did 52 of them Purzyckij did 5 of them and HanselElGato did 2 of them.

    • I think thats how interview works unless you're different like me and zianka. You gave us wikitubia questions and I dont think you did to other youtubers
