On December 29, 2006, Mia Rose created her YouTube channel, and would upload her first video on the same day, which is a cover of Kelly Clarkson's "Beautiful Diaster".[2]
With over 161,000 subscribers as of December 5, 2008, Mia Rose was at one point the most subscribed musician of all time on YouTube, greatly surpassing other YouTube musicians including Marie Digby.[3] Rose's channel peaked as the #3 most subscribed of all time in late March 2007, only behind Smosh and lonelygirl15.[4]
