Michael Reisner † (December 9, 1996 - March 10, 2021 [aged 24]), better known online as Michigun, was an Austrian pro Geometry Dash mobile player and level creator. He is arguably the most honored Geometry Dash player in the world. Reisner is well-known for creating a series of The Legend of Zelda-inspired Demons known as The Temple Series. He is also known to have had been first in the in-game leaderboard, showing his account when the leaderboards were frozen for some time.
History[]
Reisner joined YouTube in 2011. He started his adventure with Geometry Dash in 2014, recording completions of levels considered very difficult at the time. He also created his own challenging levels, including a series of The Legend of Zelda inspired levels known as the Temple Series. Most of his levels contained many triple spikes (often typed as ▲▲▲ or /\/\/\ or ∆∆∆ in text), something that quickly became his signature symbol. This prompted him to host the Demon megacollaboration Trip, where most obstacles are triple spikes and the rest are variations of the triple spike.
In 2015, Reisner took the first place in the world ranking of Geometry Dash in the total number of stars scored. He was the leader until 2017 when he relegated to second place, and announced at the end of the year that he was leaving the game. However, in 2019, he decided to return to the community.
Death[]
Reisner died on March 10, 2021 for unknown reasons. His death was confirmed by player and creator Viprin[1], who was a close friend of him. To this day, he's well-respected across the Geometry Dash community for his impact on the game and how he inspired hundreds of players.
