MrBeast Burger is an American[2] virtual restaurant founded and developed by internet personality James Stephen "Jimmy" Donaldson[3] (born: May 7, 1998 (1998-05-07) [age 27]),[4] better known online as MrBeast, in partnership with Virtual Dining Concepts, LLC.[5]

The channel was created on July 25, 2021[6] and first uploaded on the same day.[7]

Quality concerns[]

Upon opening, MrBeast Burger received mixed reviews.[8] Many customers shared their opinions on Twitter, with some praising the chain[9] while others complained of poor service and long waiting times.[10] Additionally, accusations surfaced that chains were serving uncooked food.[11][12]

Lawsuit[]

On July 31, 2023, MrBeast filed a lawsuit against Virtual Dining Concepts for breach of contract. His complaint stated his belief that the company behind his chain has failed to uphold the quality he so desired, alleging that it was more focused on its own growth than the quality of the venture's product. The filing also stated that Virtual Dining Concepts trademarked MrBeast without the knowledge of Donaldson, and because of such, Donaldson has not received any compensation from MrBeast Burger.[13][14][15]
