Nicolas Johnson (born: May 18, 2001 (2001-05-18) [age 19]), better known online as MrTop5 (or NicsterV), is a Canadian YouTuber well-known for his Fortnite and Roblox content.

Nicolas started off as a Minecraft YouTuber and has also made multiple tutorial videos and commentary videos that aren't Minecraft based. He then started doing multiple daily uploads and they would contain both Minecraft and Roblox. Ever since switching to full-time Roblox after Minecraft died down, his channel has been sky-rocketing ever since. On June 8, 2019, Nicholas created a channel dedicated to him playing Minecraft known as MrTopCraft. In March 2018, Nicolas began his Fortnite channel and that was known as MrTop5. His first video talked about a television alert seen in-game. He met Shadical at mid-Season 4, who was a fan of the secret skin The Visitor. Deadlox, aka Lox, is Nic's younger brother. When a live event occurs in Fortnite, his goal is to attempt to stop the event and prevent the game from moving forward, with the exception of a Travis Scott concert that occured in April 2020. He has finally "stopped" an event during "The Device", aka the Doomsday live event. When the Cloaked Shadow skin released in Season 7, it became his permanent and signature skin. He also pranks his friends and does Fortnite theory videos. After the third week of October, he never did a theory video for Fortnite until January 25, 2020, discussing Unreal Engine's new Chaos physics system with Shadical. In a former team channel called Team Forknife (which was him, Shadical, Lox, Bodil40, Wyatt, Liam, and more), he posted reaction videos in which, if he laughed at any of these Fortnite memes, he had to delete the game. After a month, the channel only belonged to him. After a fashion show in Chapter 2 - Season 2 and being assaulted by a stalker, Shadical left and now, it was only Lox and N3ON. Shadical returned at the start of the next season. On August 2020, Nic started a Fall Guys channel titled MrFallGuy.

Free Robux

Nicolas has been exposed multiple times for making 'Free Robux' videos. Robux is a form of currency used in Roblox to purchase items in the catalog, buy gamepasses, games, and Roblox Premium. According to Roblox's TOS, there is no such thing as free robux, they can only be bought using real-life money. Any generator, program, or Roblox game that promises to give you Robux is all a scam. Since Nicholas's fanbase is young, they usually fall into his lies, and believe in his videos.

Feud with SynthesizeOG

Nicolas made a Tweet saying, 'Clickbait on YouTube gives you short-term success.' Another YouTuber known as SynthesizeOG exposed him by screenshotting his Tweet, screenshotting his channel's videos, and made an entire Tweet containing it.[1] Nicolas did respond with, 'Yellow Arrows? Grow up.'. Ever since then, it was shared by the Roblox News Channel.[2]

Feud with Legobloxian

Another YouTuber known as legobloxian exposed Nicolas for using him.[3] Lego mentions that he had asked Lego for a DM back when Lego was a small YouTuber and would freak out about it. Nicolas said to Lego about being scared of a future exposing video on him, and Lego mentions it's not a good way to start a friendship. Lego then shows three of Nicholas's videos that show Lego's videos to give him the video ideas, and Lego calculated that Nicolas gained $1.5K just for reacting to his videos. Lego did mention that Nicolas's entire channel is based on reacting to other's videos. After the video went public and started blowing up, Nicolas deleted those three videos. A few days later, the exposed video was up. Nicolas responded to Legobloxian and mentioned that he had blocked him first before he essentially 'ignored' him.[4] Nicholas also mentions that he got the permission to react to Legobloxian's videos because he was 'fanboying'. Nicolas then did mention how he uses Discord and says that he doesn't use Discord. Legobloxian has already added Nicolas as he was able to DM him (you have to be friends with MrTop5 to DM him on Discord). Nicolas also shows that he doesn't use Discord, and screenshotted his friends DMing him on Discord, but never responded. He said that it doesn't make Nicolas hate his other friends who have DMed him on Discord. Legobloxian stated on his Twitter that he and Nicholas both made wrong and right points. Lego mentioned that they are now 'cool'.[5] He did mention that he is 50/50 on making the re-response, but didn't. Lego did not want to make any more videos containing Nicholas because he says it doesn't help. So he took down the video on Nicolas along with him doing the same thing with his video on Legobloxian.
