NERF Official, better known as just Nerf, is an American[1] toy brand formed and made by Parker Brothers and Hasbro. They are well known for their toy guns and sport balls.[2]
History[]
In 1969, Minnesota inventor Reyn Guyer had created a football game for the ball that was safe for indoor play.[3] In 1970, the ball was introduced as "the world's first indoor ball".[4] The ball was then followed by the "Super Nerf Ball", a larger version of the ball, and in 1972, "Nerfoop", a basketball game for the ball, was created.[4] Parker Brothers handed control to a sister company, Kenner Products, being bought by the Tonka Corporation, then being bought by Hasbro.[4]
Channel[]
The channel was created on March 7, 2006,[1] and the first video was uploaded on September 26, 2014.[5] Recent videos uploaded show a group of kids using Nerf products, participating in Nerf wars or roleplaying.[6]
