Ayame Nakiri (Japanese: 百鬼あやめ; birthday: December 13) is a Japanese Virtual YouTuber associated with Hololive, as part of its second generation of VTubers alongside Aqua Minato, Shion Murasaki, Choco Yuzuki, and Oozora Subaru.

Ayame debuted on the 3rd of September. Unfortunately, her debut video, though previously available, has been deleted, unlisted or possibly removed, as it is nowhere visible on her channel. The earliest streams on her channel are of her playing Super Mario 8 Deluxe[1] Minecraft[2], Super Smash Brothers Ultimate[3], APEX Legends[4] and Splatoon[5].
She has an affinity for First Person Shooter games and Minecraft. Before becoming a VTuber, she revealed she used to be a loner and had trouble interacting with others, but was inspired to become a VTuber by Houshou Marine. Since joining Hololive, she was progressively able to make bonds with the other members, open up and rely on them, and gain self-confidence, as well as become a source of inspiration for others such as Yukihana Lamy.
Nakiri has also appeared in several games herself, such as Azur Lane, something Aqua, Fubuki and Mio have made appearances in[6]. Fubuki, Mio, Matsuri and herself have also appeared in Dawn of the Breakers[7]. Though she denies being an otaku[8], she is a fan of the shoujo anime Pretty Cure with her favorite series being Smile Pretty Cure. Her favorite characters are Cure Happy, Cure Peace, and Cure Beauty. However her favorite manga is Hunter X Hunter.
Ayame is also a musician, and her music covers involve Ochame Kinou[9], Onegai muscle[10] and Crazy Night[11]. Along with several other VTubers she sang the song "Beyond the Stage"[12].
