Ariana (born: July 31, 1997 (1997-07-31)), better known online as Nawnii, is an American former furry artist, storytime YouTuber and animator.

Content

Nawnii draws and animates, as well as talking about drama in the art community. She started a regular segment on her YouTube channel called Furry Fusion Friday, though as of current it is discontinued.

When Madame betrayed Slimurs, Nawnii was one of the people who expressed support for her, even starring Slimurs in one video of her own. She also has a number of videos on child predator Cristali. Nawnii also made a video about Cosmodore, as the child Cosmodore groomed was one of her friends. She left a comment under Cosmodore's apology video telling him to stay away from kids which gained ire from Cosmodore's fanbase and resulted in her receiving hate comments. Sometimes she defends controversial users she thinks don't deserve hate such as Sashley. In some videos, Nawnii exposed child groomers such as LenTotally and H0pelessLucille.

She also investigates controversy in the art community, for example she proved that LumiStarBun faked her suicide.

On the first day of 2022, she announced she was no longer covering negative topics for the sake of her mental health. In the same year Nawnii began uploading animation meme content. In August 2022, comment sections in one of her videos were disabled.

On June 7, 2023, Nawnii privatized her channel due to unknown reasons.

VTuber career

As of 2021 she has started to stream video games on Twitch and YouTube. She streams with a VTuber model of her Zombie OC, Nemi, which is self-illustrated.

Personal Life

Nawnii grew up in an abusive household where was emotionally and physically abused. She watched her parents physically fight a lot. They were both under the influence of drugs, but when she got older her mother quit drugs and went to alcohol as an alternative and was constantly drunk. Nawnii stated that once, her dad tried to push her mom out of the car and was in and out of jail, and her mom tossed flower pots at her dad and only was in jail for one day. She also recalls them being hateful to people with autism and people who weren't white.

Her mom was more abusive to Nawnii due to her drunkenness, and abused her by hitting her with broomsticks and throwing cans at her. She would also punch and choke her. She would also call her "fat", "ugly", "cow", curse words and even starve her (they lived off food stamps). She would have to go to her cousin's house to eat, and on weekends she went to her grandmother's house. Nanwii enjoyed going to school as she was away from her parents and would often rather spend time at friends houses. Eventually she was sent to the hospital due to her consumption of drugs and alcohol and while she was away Nawnii was relieved as she was home alone and nobody was there to abuse her.

One summer her mother, high on drugs and alcohol, had a brain aneurysm and was sent to the hospital again and Nawnii stayed with her grandmother. Nawnii wanted to stay with her forever. A week before she turned 18 her grandmother died due to a heart attack and the funeral was a day after her birthday. After her death, she was told by her father not to tell anyone of her grandmother's death, including her younger brother.

She didn't understand that her home life was abnormal until she talked about it with her friends. She was desensitized to their abuse.

As of current, her father is in jail for drug possession.

Relationships

Nawnii has had a number of relationships. She met two boyfriends while playing Mabinogi. Her first boyfriend, given the psuedonym "Jim", was with her for two years until he asked for nudes, after which she left. Jim then kept begging her to stay, but they broke up two days after.

Her second boyfriend Tristan, broke up with her because on Skype, she changed her profile picture that was of her and Tristian's MLP OCs to a creepypasta character as her friends were doing it. Tristan complained about it, so Nawnii changed it, then her friends complained, so she changed it back, and Tristan got extremely angry. Then he asked for nudes and started to act creepy, and forbade her to hang up on Skype and she had to sleep with the call open. If she didn't talk to him he would get mad. He managed to get hold of her personal number and phoned her, threatening to kill himself if she left, causing her to stay. She tried to leave twice but he said the same thing. Eventually she left, but not before telling him not to do it.

One day he called her and said that he was on the border of Arkansas, Louisiana, and he was coming for her (she lived in Mississippi at the time). She begged him not to come after her. Tristan's mom phoned her and asked what was going on and Nawnii explained he was trying to kidnap her. It turned out Tristan lied to her saying he was hitch-hiking. A few days later after school, Nawnii and her friend Andrew were chilling, and Tristan called her on the phone again which caused her to burst into tears. Andrew took the phone and told Tristan that he would beat him up if he came near her, and she never heard from him again.

Later, Jim tried to sue her for talking about him. Naturally this didn't work.

Around August 2020 Nawnii dating a furry Twitter artist and software developer named TacoYakii initially many people thought Yakii was actually fake and really a character created by Nawnii until Yakii showed himself to be real. In November 2021 after more then a year together Nawnii became engaged to Yakii with a wedding date yet to be determined.

Nawnii is bisexual.

She has a cat.

Controversies

Nova Synergy drama

Nawnii's former Discord mod was Nova, until he was found out to be a child groomer.

WolfyChu drama

Wolfychu is considered to be controversial for her voice. Many people speculate that her voice is fake, and multiple users uploaded videos like Crizon, Socraturtles, etc. debating her voice. Later commentators like MangaKamen commentate their videos, and users like Nawnii uploaded videos telling them to stop discussing this issue.

Cosmodore drama

On July 27, 2020, cartoon reviewer Cosmodore confessed to knowingly dating a 15 year old girl despite being 19-20. He was later discovered to have been grooming her, as would also stalk her and be extremely emotionally abusive to her, exploiting her artistic talent and underpaying her. After Cosmo’s confession, multiple former friends made Twitlongers about how he had mistreated them, and other friends such as Saberspark, PIEGUYRULZ and LS Mark cut ties with him.

Creepshow Art drama

Nawnii was also a huge fan of Creepshow Art and stated that she changed her life.

'Black Lives Matter' Drama

Nawnii has been accused of Racism, due to refusing to give her input on the Black Lives Matters situation to her followers. This led to people accusing her of racism.
