Nicholai Perrett (born: September 29, 2001 (2001-09-29) [age 23]),[1] better known online as NichLmao, is a Singaporean YouTuber and TikToker known for making YouTube Shorts.

History[]

He joined YouTube on September 25, 2018, and uploaded his first video almost a year later on July 24, 2019.

In December 2019, he started to make shorts, which got him a subscriber boost. But he deleted most of his content in February 2020. In April 2021, he started to gain subscribers again, going from 335,000 to 1.6 million subscribers in 6 months.

Controversy[]

TikTok Ban[]

On October 1, 2021, his TikTok account was suspended due to "multiple Community Guidelines violations". However, on October 7, 2021, his TikTok account gwasot restored.[2][3]

During the broadcast of MF & DAZN: X Series 004: KSI vs. FaZe Temperrr, it was announced that NichLmao will be fighting English YouTuber Jay Swingler of TGFbro on 25 February, 2023 in the main event of Misfit's fifth event, MF & DAZN: X Series 005 at the Telford International Centre, Telford, England.[4] The event was postponed to 4 March 2023 due Jake Paul vs. Tommy Fury being on the same day.[5] On the night of the fight, NichLmao lost via majority decision.[6] On 8 March, it was announced that NichLmao had signed a multi-fight deal with Misfits Boxing.[7]

On 14 June, it was announced that NichLmao will complete in the first ever survivor tag bout against British rapper Swarmz, American YouTuber BDave and Canadian YouTuber Ryan Johnston as the headliner for MF & DAZN: X Series 008 on 22 July at the Nashville Municipal Auditorium in Nashville, Tennessee, US.[8] In the closing moments of the bout, NichLmao clubs Johnston with a combination, sending him reeling to the ropes during the waning seconds. NichLmao might have taken this one off that final shot. In the end, NichLmao’s big punches earned the nod from the judges, awarding him a decision win over the other three influencers with a total of 117 points.[9]

Wassabi LMAO (NichLmao & Alex Wassabi) vs. Los Pineda Coladas (Luis Alcaraz Pineda & BDave)[]

On September 17, 2023, NichLmao and American YouTuber Alex Wassabi known as "Wassabi LMAO" will face Mexican professional boxer Luis Alcaraz Pineda and American YouTuber BDave known as "Los Pineda Coladas" in a tag team match on the undercard of the MF & DAZN: X Series 10 – The Prime Card at the Manchester Arena in Manchester, England on October 14, 2023.[10] The fight ended as a majority draw, with the judges scoring the fight 39-37, 37-39, 38-38.[11]

NichLmao vs. Warren Spencer[]

On August 31 at MF & DAZN: X Series 17, Jay Swingler made a return to Misfits Boxing, re-debuting with a announcement that his comeback to boxing and called out NichLmao for a rematch with the duo then engaged in a brief but spirited clash in the ring.[12] On October 14, the bout was officially announced to take place on November 28 at the Lusail Sports Arena in Doha, Qatar acuminated with a lunch press conference in London.[13] On November 21, it was announced that NichLmao will face Warren Spencer due to Swingler getting injured.[14][15] On the night of the fight, NichLmao was defeated by Spencer via majority decision, the first loss in his boxing career.[16]

Nich was born in Singapore on September 29, 2001 and he was raised there until he moved to Sweden with his family in 2014 where he finished his studies. He is currently living in Los Angeles, California. He is of Australian descent.
