Lucas (born: May 9, 2000 (2000-05-09)), better known online as No Text To Speech (or simply NTTS), is a Canadian YouTuber who is well-known for uploading videos relating to software applications, mainly about Discord.

History

Early career

NTTS initially started off making "Ask Reddit" videos. However, unlike his competitors who used text to speech technology to narrate their videos, NTTS opted to use his natural voice for his videos. Thus his name, No Text To Speech. This approach made his videos stand out from the rest and helped him build a small following. Despite his efforts, those videos were not successful, with most videos averaging around 300 views. This led him to change his content and he eventually decided to switch to making tutorials for different applications.

Current content

NTTS's original strategy shift related to content that help users enhance their experience with various applications. One of the most popular mods that NTTS covers in his videos is "BetterDiscord" and "Vencord" a popular third-party mod for Discord that adds additional features and visual changes to the application.

Apart from Discord, NTTS also created tutorials for other applications, such as Roblox, Spotify and Windows. He covers a wide range of topics, including installing Spotify skins, applying custom themes to Windows, and recommending other programs that he believes will enhance the average user's experience.

As of 2021, NTTS's content is entirely about Discord, reporting on current affairs, news, updates and events surrounding the platform. Most of the Discord-related videos often discuss ways to avoid users from falling into newly uncovered scams or phishing schemes on the platform.
