Noel Shirogane (白銀ノエル) (born: November 24, 2002) is a Japanese VTuber associated with Hololive, as part of its third generation of VTubers.[1] She is part of its third generation, Hololive Fantasy, along with Marine Houshou, Pekora Usada, Rushia Uruha and Flare Shiranui.
Content[]
Noel debuted on August 8, 2019[2], and only a few months later her 3D Model debuted[3]. Noel was one of the primary ASMR-focused members of Hololive, offering a wide array of calming and relaxing ASMR as her main form of content, though this later led to her channel getting demonetized. Her content is primarily streaming games and live chatting with her fans. Along with Marine Houshou, she was part of Nonstop Story, the first live VTuber concert.
The first game she ever streamed was Minecraft, and she has an affinity for the Mario games, playing Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Super Mario Kart and Super Mario Maker too. Her lack of skill in the former has become a sore spot for her since her genmates love to frequently mock her over it. Referencing her knight aesthetic, she has also played Dragon Age. She has also played Monster Hunter World, The Ghost Train, Nioh, Grand Theft Auto 5, Among Us, Resident Evil Village, Dragon Quest XI, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (DLC), Molly Online, Fall Guys, Ring Fit Adventure, Okaeri, ARK, Getting Over It, Animal Crossing:New Horizons, Super Smash Bros, Pokemon: Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl and Project Winter. In games, she is usually known for being terrible at driving, not noticing pranks and when enraged, tending to scream to the point it resembles Matsuri's screeches.
Noel has sang Kirameki Rider[4], Shiny Smily Story[5] and Daily Diary[6] amongst other songs.
She also reacts to trailers, with her first reaction being to the Netflix animated series Record of Ragnarok.[7]
Collaborations[]
Most of her early streams featured Flare Shiranui, someone who she has implied she is in love with, and acts very jealous if anyone interacts with her. However, she has also implied an affection for Gura, saying that she will even learn English just for her, and that one of her goals is to get Gura to sleep with her. Many of her streams are of her learning it alongside her viewers[8]. She has played Quest Rooms and Garctic Phone with Marine, Korone and Lamy, and her stream of APEX Legends also featured Korone and Marine[9][10][11]. Marine and Flare also accompanied Noel during her Resident Evil 7 and Monster Hunter Rise streams, though one of the latter also featured Coco and Rushia[12][13][14].
She has also played another stream of Garctic Phone with Miko, Marine, Haato, Okayu, Luna and Polka, Among Us with HoloX, Matsuri, Miko, Marine, Suisei, Aqua, Nene, Fubuki, Okayu, Marine and Shion and Mario Party Superstars with Fubuki, Flare and Marine.[11][15][16] In one stream, Noel played Garctic Phone with Laplus, Towa, Marine, Okayu, Korone and Lui[17]She has also featured Kanata, Lamy, Marine and Coco in her ASMR streams[18][19][20][21].
Noel is nicknamed "Danchou" because she is supposed to be the leader of her generation. However most fans agree that Pekora is the leader and Marine is her second in command.
She was also in the EN/ID/JP Among Us tournament, where she proved to be a competent detective.

Her character designer is Watao.[22] She is 158cm.

As much as this fluffy, meatheaded knight may be easy-going, she has the dangerous habit of attempting to muscle her way through her problems. Hungering for power, she came to train to the VTuber world where all the stronk people are. [23]

Partnerships[]
Dengekionline announced in January of 2020 that Noel, alongside Sora, Roboco, Sakura, Aqua, Choco, Korone, Fubuki and Marine were to star in Neptunia Virtual Stars as VTuber guest characters.[24] In addition, her first voice acting role was as Vanessa from Little Witch Nobeta.[25]
The Kyocera Dome Osaka stadium, on 13 August 2021, scheduled a collaboration between 12 Hololive idols including Fubuki, who were to represent the SoftBank HAWKS and collaborate with six professional Japanese baseball teams from the Pacific League, two hololive members per team. They dubbed this day "Hololive day" and released exclusive merchandise to commemorate it.[26]
Noel was also to appear in a (currently postponed) collaborative promotion campaign for the movie Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time. Others who were part of the campaign were Houshou Marine, Uruha Rushia, Sakura Miko, Minato Aqua and A-chan.[27] Noel and Marine collaborated with Don Quijote on October 7, 2021.[28]
In January 2022, Raku Spa featured several different merchandise with Noel.[29] In June of the same year, she would also feature on Milk Shochu merchandise.[30] In October, as part of the hololive x RED° TOKYO TOWER partnership, merchandise of Pekora, Noel, Chloe and Botan would be available for sale.[31] The next month, Post Office Product Sales Service Co. featured all four of hololive Fantasy, Towa, Botan, Kiara and Moona on their merchandise.[32] Anime Game Festival Korea announced a collaboration with Noel and Flare, and later, a collaboration with all four of hololive Fantasy at their cafe from November 3-4.[33][34] On November 25, TOKYO SKYTREE Town tweeted about their limited edition merchandise of Aqua, Lamy, Noel, Marine, Watame and Fubuki.[35]
