Kiari Kendrell Cephus (born: December 14, 1991 (1991-12-14) [age 32]), better known professionally as Offset, is an American rapper known for his music, collaborations, and being a part of the rap trio Migos.

Life[]

Cephus was born on December 14, 1991, in Lawrenceville, Georgia, United States. He grew up with Quavo and Takeoff. He is the cousin of Quavo and Takeoff.

Career[]

Migos[]

In 2008, he, along with Quavo and Takeoff, formed Migos. The trio gained recognition after releasing "Versace" in 2013. In 2015, they released their debut album titled Yung Rich Nation. Their single, "Bad and Boujee", became viral in 2017, with some critics and viewers believing the song was commanded by Cephus.

Solo[]

Cephus was featured as a backup dancer in the music video for Whatchulookinat by Whitney Houston in 2002, being 9 years old at the time.

In 2017, Cephus was featured in record producer Metro Boomin's single "No Complaints", alongside Drake. He also joined Macklemore's single "Willy Wonka". He created a collaborative studio album with Metro Boomin and 21 Savage, called Without Warning, spawning the hit song "Ric Flair Drip". He released his first solo album titled Father of 4 in 2019.

Music aside, Cephus was featured in shows and videos, such as Hot Ones, Atlanta, and fashion design campaigns. He invested in FaZe Clan, commenting "I love gaming and Esports is the future". He also appeared in two videos on the group's YouTube channel.

Cephus created his channel on August 11, 2019, and he uploaded his first video on February 4, 2020. He has very few videos, but uploads music videos, and has uploaded vlogs and clips, appearing on certain series.
