Katie "Kat" [2] (born: September 9, 1997)[2] better known online as obkatiekat, is a British streamer and VTuber.
Content[]
Katie's first streams were in April of 2019, where she would balance her phone on her chest and record the screen whilst making the game sounds with her voice.
These and the rest of the first 2 years was primarily Destiny 2 content, which she removed later on due to wanting to distance from being just a “one game wonder” as she says. Back at this point, Katie would stream with a face cam.
She was working 4 jobs whilst also squeezing in very late streams because she felt like providing a space where people can escape and never feel the way she felt when going through her youth, and feel at home with a family-like community, & wanted to do anything she could to make sure she achieved this.
On August 8th, 2021, she made her VTuber debut with her first model by Shezabubadino, then on her 3rd year anniversary (April 16th 2022) she debuted her main model from Heaven Mozaic,[3] having uploaded shorts and videos teasing it months earlier, then finally debuted her 3D model from Rika of Artemiz in December later that year.
In Dec 2022, her chat discovered she had a history musically in the metal scene, with extensive talents in Screaming, Guitar, Bass & Drums, and so upon request of her community she also learnt singing, producing, and a lot of technical elements in the year of 2023, releasing many covers & originals for people to enjoy.

She has collaborated with Foxplushy, Omi VT, RiiKami Ch., Elara, Elly, Kari, Nekomancer, Bao The Whale and BriAtCookieBox amongst others.[4][5]
She is very close with her best friend, Froot (Apricot), and has a group of friends IRL that she sees a lot in Britain which consists of Saiiren, DyaRikku, and Katie’s girlfriend BipsyGG.
She gets along with most VTubers, both corporate & independent, and notably gets along very well with the members of VShojo.

In June 2022, she became one of the many VTubers idol sponsored to watch-along the debuts of their third wave, alongside Neuro-sama, Miwabelle, Koefficient, Isavtuber, Kirsche, Miu Miumi Ch. みうみうみ, Miori Celesta, Shizukou Games, Yoclesh, Daph, Yueho, Mari Mari Ch., VividlyASMR, Keniisu, Orihime, Revity, Milkywayz, Miu Miumi Ch. みうみうみ, Orihime, Misu, Punkalopi and Filian, amongst others.[6]
Trivia[]
- Her main L2D model is from HeavenMozaic, her rigger is Linka, and her artist is 7Blade.[7] This model can turn 220 degrees and has hundreds and hundreds of layers in the hair alone to do this.
- Her 3D model is from Rika from the guild Artemiz, and has the textures of her 2D in it, giving it the look of halfway between.
- Her model is based on her IRL to make the transition easier for her audience, she also has all her real scars, freckles and tattoos.
