Oceane Otoishi (Japanese: 音衣詩おしあん; birthday: March 29) is a former VTuber affiliated with the third wave of Production Kawaii.[1] She debuted with four other VTubers, Peony Aeria, Aletta Sky, Miryu Kotofuji and Sava Safari.

Content[]

Her first video was a trailer for Production Kawaii's new generation. She would continue to upload shorts and model reveals until her debut, which was on August 28, 2022. She has played NieR: Automata, Elden Ring, Monster Hunter Rise, Goat Simulator, Crisis Core Final Fantasy 7 Reunion, Little Nightmares, Pokemon Violet, Minecraft and Alice: Madness Returns . She also hosts karaoke and ASMR streams, the latter of which are sometimes pop-culture themed, like her Squid Game ASMR. Oceane's ASMR also extends to specific romantic scenarios like a feisty wife, dom boss, being in an onsen or reassure and affection from your wife. She also posts shorts about various sealife creatures such as penguins and whales.

Her other content includes kusogaki roleplay, chatting streams and handcam streams.

As a siren, Oceane was expected to follow the footsteps of her sisters. But after meeting a mermaid friend, Oceane knew she wanted to be one. She sought the help of an alchemist and asked to be transformed into a mermaid. But first, she has to prove her loyalty by becoming a kind human. With the scroll tucked in her necklace, she gained legs and eventually became a VTuber.

Her illustrator is MAIRO. MAIRO also illustrated Elvene Aranis, Emma Oumiya, Mai Koinoya, Sena Shiduki, Beni Yakumo, Minerva Rosaline and Honoa Shinosaki.

Channel Termination[]

On September 5, 2020, her channel was terminated for multiple severe violations of YouTube's content policy, despite Oceane never spamming, scamming, or engaging in any other suspicious commercial activities. However she was able to get her channel reinstated after she appealed.[6]

Retirement[]

On February 1, 2023, Kawaii Official's Twitter account tweeted that Oceane was fired from their agency. Their official notice stated that she had slandered other talents and was responsible for inappropriate contact with individuals outside the company.[7]

Later, fellow Production Kawaii members held streams revealing more details about her termination, specifically that Oceane had doxxed several members of Production Kawaii and defamed them.[8][9]
