Olivia Isabel Rodrigo (born: February 20, 2003[1]
) is an American actress, singer, and songwriter. She is best known for her songs Drivers License, Good 4 U, Deja Vu, Vampire, Get him back!, which are included in her debut album SOUR, which was released on 21 May 2021. She was recognized as Time's Entertainer of the Year in 2021, Billboard's Woman of the Year in 2022, and twice as "Songwriter of the Year" at the ASCAP Pop Music Awards in 2022 and 2024.History[]
Olivia Rodrigo grew up in Temecula, California. Her Mother is of German-Irish descent, and her father is Filipino. At a young age, Rodrigo took singing lessons, as well as Guitar and Piano.
Acting Career[]
Her first acting gig was in an old navy commercial. In 2015, she played the main character (Grace Thomas) in her first movie; American Girl: Grace Stirs up Success.
She was later cast as one of the main roles in Bizaardvark; Paige Olvera.
In High School Musical: The Musical: The Series, she was picked for the lead role; Nini Salazar-Roberts. She even wrote All I Want for one of the songs in the show. She also dated Joshua Basset during this time, but broke up with him sometime before her music career started.
Sour[]
Olivia Rodrigo came out with her debut single, Drivers License, in January, 8, 2021. On the day of it's release, it broke several streaming records across the world.

Rodrigo later released two more singles, Deja Vu and Good 4 U. On May 21, 2021, she released her debut album, Sour. This album broke records and was nominated for many music awards... including Grammy awards. She later announced that she would be going on tour for the album in 2022. as well as release a documentary about the making of the album on Disney+ in March 2022
Guts[]
Olivia would state numerous times in 2022 that she was working on the music Other didn’t say exact date, until November 30 of that year when people who are listen to her music the most receive a video by her on the Spotify page in which she would confirm that the new music will be coming out the following year in 2023.
on January 8, 2023 for the 2 anniversary of her debut single drivers license, Olivia would post a snippet of her end Dan playing the piano with the footage, having a new instrumental for a new song
in May 2023, Olivia with personal image of her in a trailer to her Instagram with a calendar for June marking the date of June 30 of that year on May 30, 2023. Her website would have a countdown counting down from May 30 to June 30, On June 26, 2023, Olivia would announce her next album guts to be released on September 8, 2023 with the first single vampire being released on June 30, 2023 becoming her next song to go number one on the board as well she would follow up with one more single from the album. ‘'Bad idea right?in August 2023
The album would be released on September 8, 2023 breaking records and in the first week she managed to surpass the sales of her first album Sour. Four days later on September 8, 2023 she released the music video for Get him back!
White House appearance[]
In July 2021, Olivia visited the White House to meet US President Joe Biden and Dr. Anthony Fauci to encourage young people to get the COVID-19 vaccination.[2]
