David Ilesanmi (born: May 29, 2004),[1] better known online as Onevilage, is a Nigerian TikTok personality who uploads skits which are originally from his TikTok.[2]
History[]
Onevilage created his channel on November 11, 2019 and uploaded his first video on November 9, 2020.[3] Due to his videos being formatted into YouTube Shorts, they received popularity, which boosted his subscriber count and view count, having over 4 billion views as of 2022.
Content[]
He uploads skits which consists of random characters, played by David, doing or saying things that would usually end up as a plot twist. Many of his videos contain face distortions, loud audio, and other effects.

Jamal[]
Jamal is a character appearing in many videos in the channel. He is often portrayed in videos getting into trouble in school and constantly being scolded by his teacher.
Jamal's teacher[]
Jamal's teacher often appears in videos featuring Jamal. He constantly scolds Jamal when he gets into trouble, such as failing an exam.
Quiet kid[]
The Quiet kid also makes several appearances in the channel. He is often portrayed in videos having a gun in his backpack, which he usually reveals during plot twists, shocking everyone in the videos.
Hitman[]
The Hitman makes a few appearances in the channel. In videos, he is instructed by his boss to kill certain people, only for his boss to reveal later on who to not kill. When this happens and the hitman kills the target/s that he is instructed to not kill, he reacts by killing himself at the end of the videos, usually by shooting himself with his gun.

The Hitman's Boss appears alongside the hitman. In videos, he tells the hitman to kill certain people, only revealing who to not kill later on, to which the hitman reacts by killing himself at the end of the videos when he shoots the target/s that he is instructed to not kill.
Justin[]
Justin is a character that makes many appearances in the channel. One of his most famous lines are "My here Justin, he's already taken, and he's cracked a Fortnite my guy".
Criticism[]
Copying other people’s videos[]
David had been criticized for copying videos from other YouTubers and TikTok users, pointed out by viewers. A YouTuber known as Thee BlackBadger noticed that David had made a video similar to how Thee BlackBadger made, which was “When the smart student gets a “bad grade” on a test”. Thee BlackBadger left a comment on his own video about his video being the original one. David has yet to respond to the criticism.
