Pierre was born in America to Vietnamese parents. He resided in Los Angeles, before relocating to Prague, Czechia, as he considered LA expensive and ugly. Pierre's androgynous way of dressing makes people believe that he is a woman at first glance, until he speaks with his deep voice.

Pierre was originally a relatively obscure musician, until a Jubilee video starring him and a former friend was released. However due to the one sidedness of the video, many people had a negative opinion of him, and he had to make a video explaining himself. Pierre's music is of 80’s dark wave in combination with heavier, shoegaze-distorted guitar & electro-pop esque production. His influences are Michael Jackson, Prince, Bjork & David Bowie. By 18, he had brief appearances on television through dance & progressively became obsessed with the avant-garde, space, philosophy & his inner world. Writing songs remained only a passionate hobby until his first show with his ex-band “west-monster” at age 21; which then he realized he wanted to pursue music as a career. Self-taught on all instruments, Pierre also writes, produces, and directs all of his own music and videos.
