Alex Rosen (born: March 15, 2000 (2000-03-15)), better known online as Gordon Flowers, Chet Goldstein, Predator Poachers, or PP Southeast Texas shortened to PPSETX, leds a sting operation group, known for catching suspected child predators. They are best known for catching and exposing EDP445. The official Predator Poachers channel, started in 2020, was created when Alex's old channel, Chet Goldstein, was removed from YouTube.

Their slogan is "We travel the most and catch the sickest." They use adult "decoys" on Facebook and dating apps to lure their subjects. Their main decoy is a woman who goes by "Emily," and usually wears a face mask and talks with an imitation of a "child-like voice" when she calls or meets someone.

They also run a second channel, named NVCAP, which is short for "Non-violent citizens against predators." In addition to this, they use Locals to upload content that doesn't get put on YouTube, given the frequent takedown of their style of content.

Personal Life

Alex is Jewish. He liked to play American Football in high school, and, per his own admission, was good at it. Politically, Alex seems to be Conservative.

Content

Alex uploads videos several times a week. These videos are edited versions of their recordings of confrontation with their subjects, some of which were livestreamed on YouTube prior to the upload date. Some of these videos are two, or even three hours long. Alex begins by introducing himself to the subject, either at their residence or in a public venue such as a restaurant or a parking lot. He usually has paper chat logs printed, and sometimes pretends to deliver them as a "package that needs to be signed for." The subjects typically are willing to talk to Alex outside or in the house.

When interrogating his subjects, Alex tries to act non-judgmental, in a bid to gain their trust. After discussing the chat logs with the decoy, he also tries to ascertain as to whether the subject was on Telegram. He intends to get his subjects to admit to viewing child pornography, the reason for this being that, in some U.S. states, the child porn charges are more likely to stick than the enticement of a minor. When Alex says he's hungry and wants "fried pickles," this is the code for the cameraman, to call the police. If he is really disgusted with a subject, Alex will call for Pickles very early. Most of the time, the police show up, and when they do, the subject usually gets handcuffed and arrested. If no cops are present into the video, Alex has a clip of him at a police station that he inserts into the video, on the grounds that this makes it compliant with YouTube policies.

On January 6th, 2024, Alex made an appearance on Michael Knowles's channel. Knowles did an interview with him about the sociopolitical ramifications on the catches, arguing that the subjects are "incapable of change," thereby implying that they deserve justice. The video title plainly refers to Alex as a "Pedophile Hunter." Alex mentions being (at the time of recording) 23 years old, but that he uses his beard and his size to appear older and to intimidate the subjects of his videos.

On June 22, 2024, conservative news site The Gateway Pundit reported that Alex had caught Maryland's LGBTQ Diversity Council member, Michael Knaapen. Alex wrote on X, “We just busted the head of the LGBTQ Dems of Maryland going after a 14-year-old.” The individual alongside Alex is supposedly the same man who decoyed as a minor. A segment of the video had been posted to X, edited around certain lines where the Chairman was admitting that he "liked the fantasy" and then stating that he "never intended" to meet the boy An archived version of the Maryland Democrats' website confirms his position, but the current revision of the website has all mention of him removed. The Maryland Democratic Party confirmed, "The volunteer is no longer affiliated with the Maryland Democratic Party"

On July 26th, 2024, NBC News reported that Donald Letcher, a 60 year old, described in-detail pornographic videos to Alex, and committed suicide while Alex and the police were still on the property. Letcher reportedly molested a 9-year-old girl in 1996, but the case was overturned by the South Dakota Supreme Court.

Alex occasionally visits political rallies and conventions, and heckles politicians. In October, 2023, he visited a Democrat rally where he heckled former Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, accusing her husband, former President Bill Clinton, of "visiting Jeffrey Epstein's island 26 times" He was subsequently dragged out of the event by security, and had his T-shirt ripped open while on the floor. This incident was filmed, and a video was shared to the Predator Poachers Twitter/X account. He also visited a Kamala Harris rally and heckled her, repeatedly shouting "Hey Kamala, why are all your friends friends with P. Diddy?". Resulting in the crowd booing Alex, a member of the crowd had also attempted to assault him, he also was handcuffed but later released.

Controversies

Exposing EDP445

EDP445 had rumors about his predatory behavior. On April 23, 2021, Alex and another YouTuber named CC UNIT, recorded an interaction with EDP445. In the video, it includes footage of Alex contacting the local authorities on Bryant, however, it is unknown at this time if any authorities have taken any actions against Bryant.

EDP made a now deleted response on Facebook to Chet's sting operation. The response didn't mention how he was completely outed for being a child predator/pedophile, Bryant repeatedly tries to act tough in the video and stays in character the entire way through. A few days after this video was posted, Bryant's account was terminated from Facebook.

Accusations of Racism/Pedophilia

After exposing Bryant, a lot of controversies came out about Alex. Alex was called out for one of his older prank videos, where he called Black Lives Matter hotlines, and repeatedly said racial slurs against African-Americans. He was also on video, saying racial slurs again, homophobia, being creepy to a decoy asking to do inappropriate things for him claiming it was a predator, and talked about having a three year old female child in his basement. He also made racist jokes about African-Americans, such as a joke on video about them "not being able to swim." Alex's behavior was called out by SomeOrdinaryGamers, and penguinz0, for his older videos. Since then, EDP445 and Alex's oldest channels have been terminated off of YouTube.

"Vigilantism"

As PP Southeast Texas, like other online predator catching groups are vigilantists, similar to likes of Skeeter Jean and other catchers, they have received statements of disapproval from public figures including police chiefs, and even Chris Hansen, for trying to handle dangerous situations themselves before contacting authorities.

Feud with Colorado Ped Patrol

The PP southeast Texas team has been known to criticize and harass Thomas Fellows, who runs the Colorado Ped Patrol channel. Alex refers to CPP as "the second best... catching team in Colorado." Alex and his team pulled up to Fellows' cul-de-sac and started a live stream. YouTube user Mike Hunt has uploaded this stream on March 6th, 2022.. Tommy said that Alex called his wife transgender and child stupid, to which Alex replied it's "all jokes." The two arguing is mostly silly and non-productive name-calling, including calling each other predators.

Getting Arrested

In March of 2025, Alex was arrested during one of his catches in Branson, Missouri. The Branson Police Department received a call complaining about Alex shouting in a Steak n' Shake and harassing customers. The subject of this catch was one of the employees. In an official statement, the BPD said: "The rule of law is critically important....these procedures require proper coordination with law enforcement agencies." Alex is facing misdemeanor charges. In spite of this, the employee was still arrested because the detectives built a case against him.

Channel Termination

One year after Alex's Original channel was terminated from YouTube, he created the channel PP Southeast Texas (or PPSETX) on 1 July, 2020, where he would do the same predator catching content. He claims to have made arrests in 27 different states as of May, 2022.

• In 2024, his channel reached over 306,000 subscribers and over 46,298,000 views.
• In 2024, Alex stated that he had been to 49 US states, including Hawaii, but not Alaska, and only had arrests in 48 states.
