The service was launched in the United States on October 28, 2014, as CBS All Access^{[citation needed]}

CBS All Access expanded internationally in April 2018, reaching Canada, and Australia introduced its own version, 10 All Access, on December 4, 2018.^{[citation needed]}

Re-merger of CBS and Viacom

CBS All Access, as part of the re-merger between CBS Corporation and Viacom, announced the addition of Nickelodeon's programming as part of its wider children's programming launch, alongside partners like Boat Rocker Studios and WildBrain.

Rebrand as Paramount+

CBS All Access will rebrand as Paramount+ in 2021, with plans for further international expansion under the new name.^{[citation needed]}
