Paul Wall is an American[1] rapper and DJ known for his music.

Career[]

After making proposals to do promotions for Michael "5000" Watts' company Swishahouse, Slayton and rapper Chamillionaire came to 97.9 the Box (KBXX), Watts' radio station and convinced him to let them rap on his radio show and put their verses on one of his mixtapes. The mixtape was titled Choppin Em Up Part 2, which released in mid-1999.[2] The freestyle became so locally popular that both rappers became regular staples on Houston's mixtape circuit, appeared on several of Watts' mixtapes, and became permanent members of Swishahouse.[citation needed]

In 2004, he, alongside Slim Thug, appeared on Mike Jones' first commercially distributed single, "Still Tippin'".[3]

In 2004, he released his debut album, Chick Magnet.[4]

In 2005, Slayton released his sophomore album, The Peoples Champ.[5]

Channel[]

Slayton created his channel on February 5, 2007, and he uploaded his first video on the same day.[6] He uploads music videos and audio to his channel.
