Alex Edgar (born: April 24, 1988), better known online as PauseUnpause, is a Canadian let's player who plays primarily Minecraft and Gary's Mod. He has been a member of the MindCrack server since October 2011. He is also a member of Team Canada, which is a group of Canadian YouTubers that consists of Alex, EthosLab, and VintageBeef.

Having been a fan of Super Hostile, Pause interviewed Vechs1 in August 2011. Through Vechs, Pause became friends with ZombieCleo, JoeHillsTSD and Zisteau. Zisteau formed Team Tunnel Rats with Joe, Cleo and Pause to participate in the second Race for Wool. It was here that Pause first met GuudeBoulderfist. Guude had previously watched Pause's 404 Challenge series and was entertained by his poor style of gameplay. Pause was invited to join the Mindcrack Server by Guude on 30 October 2011, releasing his first video from the server on 2 November 2011, titled and misspelled "Minecrack Guided Tour with Guude". Pause has said he is "super happy and super grateful" and "wouldn't be in this position today" without it, particularly for the friendships developed through his membership.
