Peacock is an American streaming service launched in 2020.
History[]
NBCUniversal, a corporation for NBC, created a new division which would include Peacock, releasing in April 2020 as a soft launch for Xfinity customers, on July 15, 2020, for the USA, and on November 16, 2021, for the UK and Ireland. Many NBC series would later move to Peacock, being taken off other streaming services like Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime Video, having their exclusive rights expired. By January 2021, Peacock has amassed a total of over 33 million customers, later reaching 42 million in April.

The channel was created on September 11, 2019, and the first video was uploaded on May 4, 2020. Clips and trailers from show and movies on the streaming service are primarily uploaded to the channel.
