Phillip "Phil" Watson[1][2][3] (born: March 1, 1988),[4] better known online as Ph1LzA (also stylized as Philza), also known as Dadza, Crow Father, Philza Minecraft, and The Creator of Minecraft), is an English YouTuber and Twitch streamer known for playing a single continuous Minecraft game on Hardcore mode for just over five years.[5]
On March 11, 2020, Phil married his wife, Kristin after proposing to her on top of the High Roller in Las Vegas, Nevada. He also was a part of Sleepyboisinc along with Technoblade, Wilbur Soot, and TommyInnit.

Phil created his channel on September 14, 2006. Phil's content primarily focuses on edited highlights from his Twitch streams.

On his Twitch channel, Philza, he has over 4.3 million followers and over 52 million total views. He mainly streams himself playing Minecraft hardcore survival. He occasionally streams Minecraft events such as Minecraft Championships.
Hardcore Worlds[]
Season 1[]
This was his very first Hardcore Minecraft series. Phil uploaded his first episode of season 1 on February 14, 2012. He didn't die in this world, but on April 30, 2013, his hard drive crashed and that was registered as a death.
Revival[]
On October 23, 2019, He revealed via his twitch stream that he got his old hard drive fixed and revisited the Season 1 world of his hardcore series during his stream to take everyone on nostalgia trip.[6]
Season 2[]
This one is what most of the Minecraft community have seen. Phil began his season 2 world on March 28, 2024 at exactly 18:31:38 BST[7]. He managed to last just over 5 years (1,853 days, 2 hours, and 27 minutes) and built many things, such as Chaos Caverns. He died on April 24, 2019 at approximately 9:35 PM BST because of a spider, along with a baby zombie with full (partly enchanted) golden armor, and a creeper.

Season 3[]
Started almost immediately after his Season 2 death. He only lasted a week and a half. He died 9 hours and 5 minutes into a 24-hour stream because of a glitch in the End, causing your player to walk backwards after entering an End Gateway.

Season 4 (Still Alive)[]
Started 5 minutes after his Season 3 death, on May 11, 2019 at 4:47 AM BST. He has been streaming it for over 4.5 years. His most notable accomplishments are creating Endlantis, The Nethervoid and FlowerFall. He is currently working on the Greater Spawn Islands project.
MC Championship[]
Minecraft Championship is a Minecraft Tournament for YouTubers and Streamers run by Noxcrew, in which 10 teams of four compete in a series of 8 minigames decided by the participants. A point multiplier makes each game worth more as each round passes, incentivizing teams to vote for games they might be bad at early on in the event. In the end, the two teams with the most points face off in a round of ‘Dodgebolt’ to decide the winner of the tournament. This makes it possible for a team to win despite potentially having fewer points than the runner-up.
- MC Championship 1: Team Yellow Chickens. Teamed with Ryguyrocky, JackSucksAtLife, and Wilbur Soot. Placed 15th individual and his team placed 7th overall.
- MC Championship 2: Team Cyan Creepers. Teamed with CaptainSparklez, Captain Puffy, and TommyInnit. Placed 6th individual and his team placed 2nd overall, losing Dodgebolt 0-2 to the Aqua Horses.
- MC Championship 3: Did not participate, as he was busy getting married.
- MC Championship 4: Team Purple Pandas. Teamed with Technoblade, Wilbur Soot, and TommyInnit. Placed 3rd individual and his team placed 1st overall, winning Dodgebolt and the tournament.
- MC Championship 5: Team Lime Llamas. Teamed with Technoblade, Wilbur Soot, and VoiceoverPete. Placed 18th individual and his team placed 5th overall.
- MC Championship 6: Team Pink Piglets. Teamed with Technoblade, Wilbur Soot, and SeaPeeKay. Placed 11th individual and his team placed 4th overall.
- This week's team was named in honor of Technoblade.
- MC Championship 7: Team Orange Ocelots. Teamed with Technoblade, Wilbur Soot, and SeaPeeKay. Placed 9th individual and his team placed 2nd overall, losing Dodgebolt 2-3 to the Green Guardians.
- MC Championship 8: Team Red Rabbits. Teamed with TommyInnit, Wilbur Soot, and Dangthatsalongname. Placed 8th individual and his team placed 6th overall.
- Statistically, his team would have finished in 2nd overall if it were not for a series of bugs that affected Scott's performance.

- MC Championship Pride 2021: Phil was not initially a participant in MCC P21, but in the middle of the event was called to temporarily replace Wilbur Soot, who was forced to evacuate his office building when a fire alarm went off. Phil played with Team Pink Parrots, joining Grian, SolidarityGaming, and Technoblade for Battle Box (Game 6) until Will was eventually permitted to return to his setup and play with his team for the remainder of the games. Phil's coins were not added to Wilbur's tally. Phil stayed to spectate the remainder of the event, and later participated in the "20v20" Dodgebolt (technically 21v20).

- Phil is a fan of Bleach, as seen in his Minecraft skin.
- Phil is often referred to as Philza Minecraft, due to his Season 2 run on Hardcore Mode.
- He is often referred to as Dadza because of his canon role in Sleepybois, Inc.
- This is why his wife is often referred to as Mumza.
- In the Dream SMP, when Phil encountered a Baby Zombie and Techno was with him, Technoblade would've tried to kill it himself, due to what happened at the end of Phil's 5-year run on Hardcore Mode.
- He is the shortest member of Sleepybois, Inc. (5’11”) and the only one to measure less than 6 feet.
- A running joke in TommyInnit's videos and on twitter is that Phil is "so old" and "invented minecraft".
- He never learned to drive or get his driver's license.

- In the QSMP, as part of his task (tell a story about a friend), he told his eggs the story of Technoblade and the Potato War.
- In one of his streams, he stated that he does not mind being a father figure to thousands of internet kids as long as they will not ask him for pocket money!
- If Phil survives long enough, he will break his hardcore Season 2 record in Season 4 on Thursday, June 6, 2024 at approximately 7:44 AM BST.
