Pluto TV is an American-European television service that was launched on March 31, 2014.

History[]

Pluto TV launched its beta website on March 31, 2014. It was originally developed to provide many curated channels of online context existing, offering over 100 channels filled with content from sites such as YouTube, Vimeo, and Dailymotion. In 2015, Pluto TV announced that it had signed a deal with Hulu to distribute ad-supported content. In 2016, Sony and Pluto TV signed an agreement with each other to make the Pluto TV app available on the PlayStation store. Pluto TV expanded into parts of Europe in 2018, with the availability of the UK's service, "Now TV."

The channel was created on November 13, 2013, and the first video was uploaded on March 31, 2014, coincidentally on Pluto TV's launch date. The channel uploads commercials and clips of movies and TV shows featured on their service.
