Porter Weston Robinson (born: July 15, 1992) is an American DJ, musician, record producer and singer originally from Atlanta, Georgia, now residing in Chapel Hill in North Carolina in the United States. He is best known for his single, Shelter, which was a collaboration with his childhood friend and fellow musician Madeon about their friendship.

Porter Robinson created his YouTube channel on August 5, 2010. The first video he uploaded to the channel was his single, The Wildcat. As of July 2024, he has released three studio albums (Worlds, Nurture & SMILE! :D), one remix album, eight EPs, and thirty-one singles, including his single Shelter, which was about his long friendship with fellow music producer Madeon, who he collaborated with for Shelter. The song's music video on YouTube was a short film made with A-1 Pictures and Crunchyroll.
