Amazon Prime Video, also and better known simply as Prime Video, is an American[1][2] subscription video on-demand over-the-top streaming and rental service of Amazon offered both as a stand-alone service and as part of Amazon's Prime subscription.[3][4]

Service[]
The service debuted on September 7, 2006, as Amazon Unbox in the United States.[5] On September 4, 2008, the service was renamed Amazon Video on Demand.[6] On February 22, 2011, the service rebranded as Amazon Instant Video and added access to 5,000 movies and TV shows for Amazon Prime members.[7]
Channel[]
The channel was made on August 18, 2011,[2] where it would upload its first video on February 6, 2014.[8]
