Marcus Bromander[1] (born: September 9, 1990),[2] better known online as PuffballsUnited (or simply Puff), is an American artist, animator, and voice actor best known for creating the popular game series Henry Stickmin. He voices all the male characters with dialogue, but is able to make each one sound different through different accents and pitch changes.
Marcus is also a part of the indie game development team Innersloth.[3]
History[]
PuffballsUnited started his career as a game developer with Crossing the Pit, which would become a predecessor to his Henry Stickmin series, in 2007.[4] From 2008 to 2015, he created the games in the series, which were released on Newgrounds and Stickpage.[5][6] In 2017, PuffballsUnited announced that he was starting work on the series' final game, Completing the Mission, and also announced that it would be available alongside The Henry Stickmin Collection, which also featured remastered versions of all previous entries in the series.[7][8]
This collection, published by Innersloth, was then released on Steam on August 7, 2020.[9] In 2018, the Innersloth team released Among Us, which achieved viral success throughout the later half of 2020.[10][11] A fourth map based on the Henry Stickmin series was revealed, which was released on March 31, 2021 which was called "the Airship".[12][13]
Biography[]
Marcus was raised in Portland, Oregon.[14] He got his username "PuffballsUnited" from comics he used to draw back in highschool.[15]
