Clark, better known by his internet name Raasclark, is an English YouTuber who is known for their Gaming videos on the survival game Ark: Survival Evolved and Ark: Survival Ascended. He often posts commentary news videos on the game.

History

Clark created his channel on November 15, 2013. Then he started uploading videos in early 2017. He uploaded his first video on March 12, 2017, titled "ARK Legacy PS4 Titan Attack." This also indicates that Clark used to play Ark on his PlayStation before switching to PC later in his career.

Clark then started posting YouTube Shorts on the same game at the very end of 2018 and transitioning to 2019, with his first YouTube Short was posted on the December 31, 2018, titled "Fantartark VS DiamondSnails Teaser Stream Links." His first IRL video was a Short posted on March 17, 2021 titled "When You've Played Too Much ARK."

Content

Clark commonly posts videos about the survival adventure game Ark: Survival Evolved. He formerly posted on that game before migrating to Ark: Survival Ascended on that game's release, to serve as the remainder of his content. He commonly posts simple gaming videos, but he also posts commentary videos detailing the game's "Community Crunch" news center, and also posts memes about the game.

However, Clark does not exclusively play Ark: Survival Evolved and Ascended. He has also done 15 videos on the game The Forest, a livestream on the game's sequel Sons of the Forest, series on the games Nightingale and Palworld, and a video on a modded version of the sandbox game Minecraft.

Monarky

"Monarky" is a very large Ark series, consisting of a single Ark server that is run by and made up of many YouTubers. organized by Raasclark, the ultimate goal of Monarky is to build a single kingdom within the server, hence the name which is a play on "monarchy."

Among the many episodes, there are a multitude of challenges within the server, the primary of which is to battle for crowns. There have been 6 seasons of Monarky so far, and a total of over 60 YouTubers competing in total.

Dingle Cup

The "Dingle Cup" is a competition hosted by Raasclark and a close friend of his, named Veno. In the Dingle Cup, him and Veno compete in various Ark taming challenges followed by battles. Whoever successfully kills all of the other person's tamed creatures scores a points, and the player with the most points is rewarded a Trophy Cup at the end of the season.

Within the season's episodes, the two must spin a wheel which decides what creature they are required to tame in the game. Once their tame is selected, they must go out and tame it for themself to use in the later creature Battle. However, they must tame the very first one they spot; if they spot multiple, it has to be the first one they spotted within the group.

However, not all Dingle Cup episodes utilize a spinner to decide the required creature; some require challenges that do not need a spinner, such as guessing the creature by their footprints, their eggs, or playing Two Truths and One Lie to decide what creature they are to give to the other contestant.

There have been Four seasons of the Dingle Cup, with the fourth season being ongoing. Veno was the winner of Season One, and Raas was the winner of Seasons Two and Three.

ARK Meme Closet

The "ARK Meme Closet" is a series on Clark's channel, where he simply reacts to a set memes and other posts on his Discord server, themes around the game Ark: Survival Evolved. The series is also known as "YMIMC" as evident by the intro. The intro uses a sampled segment from Ark: Survival Evolved's main theme. The series has 114 episodes to it.

Survival Evolved Show

The "Survival Evolved Show" is a podcast organized by Raasclark, where they discuss certain factors of the game in the theme of a game show. The podcast has 22 episodes to it.
