Matthew Tyra[1] (born: May 7, 1997),[citation needed] better known online as Rakunio (Originally Rakunio Kewn), is a Let's player/YouTuber from New York, United States. He started let's plays in 2014 with some 8-bit games. Most of his older videos got deleted by accident from YouTube's autogenerated system. Instead of rebooting his channel he just changed the name of the channel to "Rakunio".

Rakunio created his YouTube channel back on March 18, 2014 and uploaded his first video titled "She Can't Control It | Start 1 | REMAINING CALM" on May 18, 2014.[2]

Matthew was bullied throughout his life in school being that he was shy and uncertain in most situations. He enjoys playing any videos games. He eventually passed high-school in early 2017. His interests turned into be Animals and general Marine Biology studies.

Death of Barnacle (Pet Cat)[]
Eventually after about a 9 or so year run with him, he passed away from a infection that spread to his nose and possibly his insides. Due to his cat's death, he bought a fish tank setup which soon got downgraded for personal reasons and concern for the fishes well-being. He also bought a chinchilla which is currently still alive as of 2023. [3]
