Parker Jerry Marriott (born: February 23, 2002 (2002-02-23)), better known online as rekrap2 (or simply rek), is an American gaming YouTuber who is part of the EchoCraft Server and LifeSteal SMP, and is best known for failed attempts to drop anvils on another player's head and for also doing the Dream's boat clutch. His most viewed video is I Learned to do Dream's Insane Boat MLG.

History

Parker joined YouTube on March 27, 2020 and posted his first video on the same day. His first video was a yoga video, posted as an assignment for school. Parker's oldest public video is making flying machines in Minecraft. In July 29, 2020, he posted his first EchoCraft video, which achieved him minor recognition.

On October 9, 2020, he made a video where he speculated the location of the Mycelium Resistance HQ. Although he was heavily criticized for the video, he began to gain more recognition.

After that, he continued to post videos in the EchoCraft Server, though it was not very successful. He began to find success after on through videos of collaborations with other members, such as That Chief Guy and videos involving redstone. He also made his first video involving anvils.

On April 24, 2021, Parker uploaded I Learned to do Dream's Insane Boat MLG. Upon release, it became a big hit, and he gained a significant amount of subscribers. After that, he went on to post videos on the hardcore SMP series, and EchoCraft Season 3, where he did many builds and pranks, including his famed anvil prank.

On August 15, 2021, he joined the LifeSteal SMP, run by Parrot. As he was part of such a big community, he began to once again receive more recognition and is known in the server as a good builder, planner and prankster.

He later moved from SMP content to Minecraft speedrunning, in which he garnered recognition from the community. He then got invited to the speedrunning group "House Builder Gang".
