republicattak is a French YouTuber who makes LEGO's for his career. His channel is mainly building and showing his own LEGO world.
Beginning[]
Since 2004, republicattak has been collecting LEGOs. Over time in 2010 he would show the world his creations. From 2010 to 2018, republicattak would show the world his LEGO Star Wars worlds. He gained a small fanbase and his channel was doing well.
Robbery[]
On October 5, 2018 republicattak's home was robbed. He came home to see his car window destroyed, along with the windows and doors to his house. He then saw his LEGOs were destroyed/stolen, both in his room and the room he built them in. A project he'd been working on since 2010, called "Infiltration", was gone. He made a video talking about it called "Bye". He explained that he came home to see all this and it was either gone or destroyed. He was surprised to see his Mac and PC still there but his LEGOs were gone. All that was left was a LEGO Imperial Shuttle in the corner. He then told everyone his hobby was gone and done, and said bye.
GoFundmePage[]
Overtime the Internet and YouTube users saw this and felt very bad for the man so Ryan Mccullough (Who runs the LEGO Star Wars channel MandRproductions) went to make a GoFundMe page to help him get the $18,000 back to remake everything. When they reached the goal in 11 days republicattak shut the project down but republicattak soon accepted the offer.
Happy Ending[]
republicattak made a video called "Thank You" where he thanks everyone who helped him get the money he needed. He then made two more videos showing that he got an AT-AT walker. He has also gained a good following.
