Joel Gustaf Berghult (born: April 8, 1988[1][2] better known online as RoomieOfficial (or simply Roomie), is a Swedish YouTuber, comedian, singer, and songwriter. He is known for his series One Guy, _ Voices.
),He is also known for creating various PewDiePie songs, such as "FABULOUS!", "BROFIST" and "His Name Is Pewdiepie". He also helped to create the song "Congratulations" with Boyinaband and PewDiePie.[3][4][5]
He is in good contact with other popular YouTubers such as PewDiePie, Schmoyoho, Jacksfilms, Boyinaband, Andrew Huang, Rob Scallon, Element Animation, Jaiden Animations and Jonas Fisk (his former editor and current video producer).
He has a series on his channel called Slap It On Reddit (SIOR) where he reviews music related content such as videos and other submissions submitted to him on his Reddit.

Joel Gustaf Bergult was born on April 8, 1988 in Gothenburg, Sweden. His father, Bosse Berghult, is a musician. He currently resides in Los Angeles, California with fellow YouTuber Daniel Thrasher.
History[]
About 2010-Mid 2011, Roomie was a band formed by 5 of his friends, they would upload original songs and covers together. Around the years of Late 2011-2014, Roomie would write, perform, and upload songs/covers for himself, consisting of original songs such as "Ugly" and "Dating a Douchebag" along with covers of various mainstream artists like Maroon 5, OneRepublic, Imagine Dragons, and Taylor Swift.[6][7] He also occasionally covers video game songs, such as the song "Still Alive" from Portal.
Other YouTubers believed he had songwriting skills, so they asked him to make songs for them. One of his most popular and well-received works is a song written for and uploaded by popular gaming YouTuber, PewDiePie, titled "FABULOUS!". The song currently has over 31 million views on YouTube and was released on Pewdiepie's main channel. His second most popular song is called "It's Muffin Time!" and features samples from a video by TomSka titled "asdfmovie8" and later he sang a song on his channel called "Shoot All Your Problems Away".[8]However, there is another song he made for PewDiePie: "Congratulations", which was a diss track to T-Series during the Subscriber war.
Break from YouTube[]
On June 11, 2020, Roomie said that he was going to take a break from YouTube, but does not know when he would come back. He decided to do so because "he was getting tired of uploading daily". He made a video explaining this.
One month later, on the 22nd of July, he made a video one month after his break from YouTube. On the 29th, he made a video explaining this.
