Rotana Music Group, commonly known as Rotana is a Saudi Arabian Record Label that is currently the largest in the Arab World. It is founded in 1987. More than 100 Artists signed for Rotana.[1]

Beginnings[]
In 1987, the Rotana Music Group was Founded by the Nagro Brothers, and started off as a record company in 1987, and grew to become the leading producer / distributor of Arabic music and film in the world, with the highest revenue generating mobile content corporation in the entire Middle East, North Africa, the Gulf and Europe.
In February 2021, the Warner Music Group purchased a minority stake in Rotana.[2]

On January 10, 2012, Rotana created their Channel, the first video is uploaded the same day the channel is Created titled "Amal Hijazi - Bi 3younak Za3al | امل حجازي - بعيونك زعل" (Translation: Amal Hijazi - Bi 3younak Za3al | Amal Hegazy - There is sadness in your eyes).
On April 16, 2012, The First Archive of the Channel was Archived on the Wayback Machine. It was named RotanaAudio's channel back then and had 1,230 subscribers at that time.[3]
