Lin I-ju (Chinese: 林依儒; pinyin: Lín yīrú；birthday: November 15), better known online as Ru's Piano Ru味春捲 (also known by her nickname as RuRu "Ru"), is a Taiwanese pianist and YouTuber who makes music piano covers of Japanese animes and video games.
History[]
RuRu created her YouTube channel on March 25, 2018 and uploaded her first video two days later. Her first video was a piano cover of FAIRY TAIL Sad Theme. Her video was taken in single camera-mode. On her video titled Bazelgeuse OST - 飛来せし気高き非道 - Ru's Piano Cover / Monster Hunter : World, she fully appeared for first time. On her video titled Tokyo Ghoul :Re OP - Asphyxia - Ru's Piano Cover, her video was taken in multi camera mode for first time. She appeared with her face for first time on her video titled Kulve Taroth OST - 地脈の黄金郷 - Monster Hunter : World [Piano Cover which uploaded on July 27, 2018.
Her first cover video wearing cosplay was uploaded on November 22, 2018. She also appeared on live performance in EOY J-Culture Festival Day, Singapore on December 4, 2019 and uploaded on her YouTube on January 4, 2020. In May 2020, She reached 1 million subscribers and uploaded her special video of Dragon Ball's piano cover.
On January 14, 2022, she achieved the milestone of 2 million subscribers. RuRu's covers contain video of her playing songs on the piano, with elaborate cosplay of a character from the anime or game she is covering music from. Occasionally, her cat, PiPi will also appear in frame such as in her rendition of Gurenge by LiSA, from the anime Demon Slayer.
