Ryan Garcia also known as King Ry (born: August 8, 1998 (1998-08-08) [age 26]) is an American professional boxer and this is the official Ryan Garcia YouTube channel. He is known for showing off his boxing skills on social media. His current record in his boxing career is 23-1 (19 KOs)

Content[]

His videos consist of him training for his next fight (showing off his boxing skills), and vlogging, such as vlogging about his daily routine, and other collabs, mostly with Logan Paul and FaZe Rug. On his 2nd channel, he usually posts his own podcasts with a couple people such as Ben Askren, and Tyron Woodley.

Controversies[]

Mental breakdown[]

In March 2024, Garcia posted disturbing video to his X aimed at Satan. This was not the first video on Garcia's accounts to feature the devil in the last few days. The first one carried a much scarier tone, showing six seconds off a shaky camera and one unidentified person with a caption claiming "we got him."[1] Many people around Garcia, from fellow fighters to his ex-wife, expressed concern over his health and well-being.[2] Garcia account on X posted a string of disturbing messages, which allegedly came from a hacker and the posts was soon deleted.[3]

He claimed to be a victim of sexual abuse and spoke out against human trafficking, in between a few less serious posts, although it is unclear if Garcia is the one posting from his account. Garcia ended with a live Twitter Spaces with Andrew Tate in which he claimed to be taken into the woods and forced to watch people commit atrocities to children.[4] YouTubers The W.A.D.E. Concept, KSI and True Geordie called for Garcia to get help and to call off his bout with Devin Haney.[5][6][7] Garcia stated that he will vow to end his bizarre social media rants. However eight hours later, Garcia returned to X saying he'd 'finish' Jake Paul in hypothetical bout.[8]

Vandalism[]

In June 2024, Garcia was arrested for damaging a room and hallway in the Waldorf Astoria in Beverly Hills, California.[9] According the Beverly Hills Police Department, the hotel stated that Garcia caused an estimated $15,000 in damage.[10] The next month, Garcia would be criminally charged with one misdemeanor count of vandalism, for which he faces up to a year in prison.[11]

Anti-LGBTQ Tweet[]

In July 2024, Garcia posted “I don’t support the LGBTQ + – whatever the fuck at all, fuck you guys rot in hell.” on X.[12]

Andrea Celina allegations[]

In 2024, his ex-wife Andrea Celina accused him of breaking into her home and smashing her belongings.[13] She also posted screenshots of text messages between her and Garcia, revealing Garcia's alleged aggressive and hostile behavior. According to Celina, Garcia's actions were fueled by his ongoing struggles with alcohol.[14]
