Nathaniel Bustamante[1] (born: February 24, 1994)[2], better known online as Salt Papi (formerly Busta Breezie), is a Filipino-English TikToker and YouTuber. He rose to fame after his Fake Run viral dance challenge videos went viral on TikTok.
Personal life[]
Nathaniel was born and raised in Candelaria, Quezon in the Philippines before he moved to London with his parents at the age of 14. Although he was interested in boxing at a young age, he first worked as a nurse for 5 years before he pursued his career as a content creator and boxer.[1]

Salt Papi is a well-known content developer and social media influencer. He rose to prominence after his TikTok Fake Run viral dance challenge videos went viral. Later, he began to concentrate on his internet profession. Papi also posted other incredible films on his TikTok and Instagram pages.
His social media channels currently have millions of views and likes. Aside from that, Salt has his own YouTube channel, which has over 414K followers (as of January 2023). His boxing content is largely shared on his YouTube account. He also worked with a number of well-known boxers and social media celebrities.

On 16 July 2022, it was announced that Papi will be fighting Canadian Twitch streamer Andy Warski on the undercard of MF & DAZN: X Series 001: KSI vs. Swarmz and KSI vs. Luis Alcaraz Pineda at the O2 Arena in London, England on 27 August 2022.[3] On the night of the fight, Papi didn’t need all three rounds though, flooring Warski with a beautiful uppercut-hook combination just a few seconds into the bout. Incredibly, Warski was able to get up from the knockdown, but the referee waved the bout off just 29 seconds into the fight.[4]

On December 3 2022, it was announced by Misfits Boxing that Salt Papi will be fighting against American mixed martial arts fighter Josh Brueckner on the undercard of MF & DAZN: X Series 004: KSI vs. FaZe Temperrr at Wembley Arena in London, England on 14 January 2023.[5] On the night of the fight, Papi defeated Brueckner via 2nd round knock out which was a moment which got the world's attention, including American professional boxer Ryan Garcia who took to social media to give his verdict on the finish.[6]
On 10 February, it was announced that Salt Papi had signed a multi-fight deal with Misfits Boxing.[7]
Salt Papi vs. Anthony Taylor[]

On 14 April 2023, Happy Punch Promotions officially announced on Twitter that Salt Papi will be returning to the ring on 13 May.[8] On 15 April, Keemstar announced that there will be a Happy Punch vs. Happy Punch fight announced coming soon.[9] On 16 April, it was announced that Salt Papi will fight American mixed martial arts fighter Anthony "PrettyBoy" Taylor on the undercard of MF & DAZN: X Series 007: KSI vs. Joe Fournier in Wembley Arena in London, England on 13 May.[10] On the fight of the night, Papi struggled to land anything of note in the third round and Taylor was able to hit him with pop shots that didn't necessarily cause damage but certainly impressed those inside Wembley Arena. When the final bell rang, Taylor was named the winner by unanimous decision.[11]

On July 25, the Misfits Small Council wants Papi to fight American YouTuber Slim Albaher for a belt.[12] Papi reacted to this by saying "LET’S DO THIS FOR FUN BRO!! I’M 180-185 LBS RN BUT WE CAN MEET AT THE MIDDLE 170-175 LBS?".[13] On August 5, Misfits Boxing co-owner Mams Taylor posted on Twitter that the Small Council has ordered the bout between Papi and Slim to take place for the Misfits Boxing Middleweight Title, which Slim has not responded which Taylor gave Slim a deadline to responded by August 7 at 5:00pm BST.[14][15] On August 8, it was confirmed that Slim isn't fighting Papi on the Prime Card.[16] According to Blueface's manager, Papi and Blueface are confirmed to be in talks for a fight on the MF & DAZN: X Series – The Prime Card.[17] On August 22, Papi officially challenges American rapper Blueface to a boxing match.[18] On August 23, Blueface posted that he won't be able to fight Papi on October 14 because he has been stabbed.[19]
On September 23, 2023 during the MF & DAZN: X Series 009 broadcast, it was announced that Papi will face Slim for the vacant MFB Middleweight Championship on the undercard of the MF & DAZN: X Series 10 – The Prime Card at the Manchester Arena in Manchester, England on October 14, 2023.[20] On the night of the fight, Papi was defeated by Slim via 4th round technical knockout.[21]
Salt Papi vs. Amadeusz Ferrari[]
On April 10, 2024, Misfits announced on social media that X Series 14 would headline Salt Papi against Polish mixed martial artist Amadeusz Ferrari for May 11 at the Troxy arena in London, England.[22] On the night of the fight, Papi made Ferrari quit on his stool at the end of the third round in an anticlimactic end to the fight.[23]

On October 14, 2024, it was announced that Papi will be fighting English YouTuber King Kenny on MF & DAZN: X Series 19 – Qatar: The Supercard on November 28 at the Lusail Sports Arena in Doha, Qatar.[24] During fight week, Kenny took to Twitter to express his frustration over Salt Papi's attempt to change the agreed fight length from 6 rounds to 5.[25] Papi’s management claims that the contract showing 6 rounds, which Kenny presented, is incorrect.[26] The two exchanged back-and-forth remarks until Mams Taylor, the owner of Misfits Boxing, decided to flip a coin to determine the number of rounds, which ultimately turned out to be six.[27][28][29] On the night of the fight, Papi defeated Kenny via third round technical knockout.[30]
Salt Papi vs. Tony Ferguson[]
On July 16, 2025, it was announced that Papi will face former interim UFC lightweight champion Tony Ferguson for the interim MFB middleweight title on Misfits 22 – Ring of Thrones at the Manchester Arena in Manchester, England on August 30, 2025.[31] Papi lost to Ferguson via technical knockout in the third round.[32]

On 4 February 2022, it was announced that Salt Papi will be fighting British YouTuber Halal Ham on the prelims card of the Showstar Boxing: UK vs. USA event at the SSE Arena in London, England on 5 March 2022.[33] On the night of the fight, Papi defeated Ham via unanimous decision.[34]
Salt Papi vs. Dawood Savage[]
On June 27, 2024, it was announced that Papi will face Dawood Savage on Social Knockout 3 at the Coca-Cola Arena in Dubai on July 6.[35] On the night of the fight, Papi defeated Savage via 1st round technical knockout.[36]
