Content

Salvo's first videos were commentary videos of lesser-known controversies about YouTubers and he would regularly comment on popular YouTubers such as H3h3Productions, David Dobrik and Mike Maljak. He continued this up till 2022, where he became known for his fight with Def Noodles.^{[citation needed]}

Controversy

Feud with Def Noodles

In September 2022, Dennis "Def Noodles" Feitosa hosted an event at the LA Comedy Club in Las Vegas for YouTubers critical of him to "roast" him, and even offered to pay for the flight expenses of anyone who wished to join. Salvo took up this offer and flew to Los Angeles for the event. When it began, Salvo began mocking Dennis, calling on the crowd to chant "Fuck Def Noodles! Fuck Def Noodles!" and said that everyone hated him. He also mocked Dennis for calling himself a real comedian. When Salvo got the audience to chant "Red Bar!" (an in-joke offensive to Dennis), Def Noodles assaulted him, and ran behind his bodyguards so that Salvo couldn't attack him. Salvo was then forcibly removed from the club, and had to be admitted to a hospital as a result of the back injuries he had sustained. Since it was a public event that was being livestreamed, footage of Dennis assaulting Salvo circulated around YouTube and Twitter rather quickly.

Prior to this, the event had been widely criticized by a few commentary YouTubers for being not funny despite being marketed as a roast battle.

Exposing Dennis' past and fraud

After the assault, Salvo used his platform to boost the voice of a former employee of Dennis', Tiana, revealing how Dennis abused her and denied her water and made her eat leftover food (the former of which is illegal due to labor laws of where they live). Salvo also revealed that Dennis had a record for being violent in the past.

Salvo also revealed that despite his claims, and already selling the tickets, the event actually wasn't hosted at the LA Comedy Club in Las Vegas like Dennis had claimed.

On September 4, 2022, penguinz0 made a video "Youtuber Comedy Event Ends in Disaster" where he discussed the event, but his video had a few inconsistencies due to him not knowing the deeper context of the situation. Once many called him out on it, Charlie made a video the next day called I Got Called Out where he clarified his mistakes.
