SML (orignally an initialism for SuperMarioLogan), is an American YouTube channel created by Logan Austin Thirtyacre[3][4] (born: November 17, 1994), known for its puppet (formerly plush) video series of the same name. From 2007-21, the characters used in their videos were primarily ones from the Mario franchise.
Out of all his characters, Logan's most famous character is Jeffy, who was first introduced in January 2016. In addition to his main series of videos, Logan has also done reviews, vlogs, behind the scenes videos, updates, reaction videos and Lets Plays.
When the original SML channel was demonetized in late-2017, Dabhdude told Logan that it would be a good idea uploading on a different channel. Logan transferred over to his second channel, SuperLuigiLogan, and began creating content there. This would be his main channel for uploads until July 2019, when Logan moved to SuperBowserLogan, his third channel that had originally been for gaming content, but became the new home for uploads of SML videos due to SuperLuigiLogan itself becoming demonetized. In March 2021, Logan moved his videos once again to a channel formerly owned by crew member Elaina Keyes, following a cease-and-desist from Nintendo.
In May 2021, Logan posted an announcement in the community tab on the original SML channel to inform his audience that he was planning to delete his channel on June 1, and later confirmed that the SLL and SBL channels would also be deleted. On July 8, 2021, the original SML channel was deleted. Logan subsequently created a new channel, simply named "SML," which now functions as his main channel.
On June 2, 2025, the channel had every one of its videos demonetized.[5] However, YouTube reversed this shortly after.[6][7]
Personal life[]
Logan was born on November 17, 1994, in Pensacola, Florida, to parents Kelly Fay Thirtyacre and Jennifer Nichole Grant. Logan and his brother Lance Thirtyacre have Irish descent, which mostly comes from his father. At the age of three, his mother and father divorced. His mother met a new man named Brian Grant, and they got married. This made Brian Logan his stepfather. Brian also introduced the famous Nintendo character Mario to him.
Logan once had the West Nile virus from a mosquito and was cured after two weeks. For most of his life, he couldn't eat most types of food as he would feel extremely ill. It eventually got to the point where he had to be injected with a feeding tube to gain weight. After struggling with depression and suicidal thoughts, Logan eventually went to a professional and was diagnosed with superior mesenteric artery syndrome. On June 20, 2012, Logan received surgery and was cured. After slowly recovering, he met Jamarcus Mitchell, who had leukemia, and both of them got along before Jamarcus' death in October 2012. After leaving the hospital, he became a Catholic and got his driving license at 17 years old.[8]
Logan attended J.M. Tate High School in Cantonment, Florida, and graduated on June 4, 2013. He currently lives in Pensacola, Florida, in the United States. On November 4, 2020, Logan, along with his brother Lance, and multiple other SML crew members tested positive for COVID-19, but they have all recovered from it since then.[citation needed]
History[]
YouTube career[]
Logan discovered YouTube when Lance introduced him after his friend had a YouTube account. He first joined YouTube on December 8, 2007, as SuperMarioLogan1994, but renamed the channel to SuperMarioLogan . His first video was a recreation of the 1996 Super Mario 64 "Got Milk?" commercial. On December 8, 2017, Logan uploaded a remake of the video to celebrate the 10th anniversary of his first video and his channel.
On November 17, 2008, a new web series titled Mario and Luigi's Stupid and Dumb Adventures was introduced to the channel, which was about the Mario Bros. embarking on numerous adventures together. This series was really popular for the channel in its early days, and a lot of Logan's early fans refer to it as SML's "Golden Era." However, Logan eventually announced the series (along with the channel) would end on June 20, 2012, due to the possibility of him not surviving a superior mesenteric artery (SMA) surgery he would be undergoing, and wanted to finish his series and channel on a time loop. After Logan came back from his surgery and recovered from it, he resumed uploading on the channel as well as making a now cancelled third season for the series.
In February 2021, Logan received a cease-and-desist letter from Nintendo, informing him that he was no longer able to use or reference any of their company's properties on his channel due to the controversial content he had created with them. As of February 11, 2021, all Nintendo-themed characters have been replaced with puppets made in their likeness.[9] On July 8, 2021, Logan closed the channel due to this situation.
On October 20, 2021, an official SML store opened at the Cordova Mall, located in Pensacola, Florida, where Logan resides. Much like their online store, they sell puppets, shirts, and a variety of other merchandise. They also provide an interactive area for kids and TV screens that play SML videos.[10] Logan has said that if the store does well, more SML stores will appear in different malls in other locations.
Age restrictions and demonetizations[]
Since December 2017, some of Logan's videos have been age-restricted. His fans initially thought that this was related to the Elsagate scandal on YouTube. On February 28, 2018, Logan confirmed on his Instagram page that YouTube revoked monetization tools and features from the SuperMarioLogan channel, making it unable to receive money from his videos. He announced that due to this, he would be putting the SuperMarioLogan channel on hiatus until his channel regained monetization and switched to SuperLuigiLogan. Logan stated that the reason his SuperMarioLogan channel was demonetized was because of the character Craig The Devil. Some fans criticized him for this, claiming that the more controversial Jeffy was the true cause of the channel's demonetization.
On April 24, 2018, Logan said that the SuperLuigiLogan channel was also partly demonetized. His fans allegedly discovered that the demonetization of Logan's channels was the result of SkipDip, a supposed YouTube moderator and a former fan who claimed he did this to force Logan to admit he had been scamming people on his Patreon paywall (due to the delayed time it usually takes for Logan to do Patreon shout-outs after receiving the donations). Logan's fans also theorized that SkipDip did this in order to force him to stop using the characters Jeffy and Junior in his videos. SkipDip would allegedly go on to terminate Mumkey Jones in December.
On July 5, 2019, Logan posted on his Instagram page that YouTube was not confirming his videos for monetization on SuperLuigiLogan. Logan thought this was a YouTube glitch on their end, but as time passed and Logan tried to upload more videos, YouTube still wouldn't confirm his videos for monetization. Logan announced a week later, on July 12, that he moved to another one of his channels, SuperBowserLogan.
Following the cease-and-desist situation with Nintendo, Logan announced the creation of a new channel simply called SML, in March 2021.
Deletion of the SML channels[]
On July 7, 2021, Logan uploaded his final video onto the SML channel (now renamed 'SML Plush Show'), telling fans that the SuperMarioLogan channel was going to be deleted.[11] The next day, the original SML channel would be deleted, with SuperLuigiLogan and SuperBowserLogan following soon after. All their videos have been archived since on Dabhdude's alternate channel, SML Reuploaded.[12]
"Hackings" of SuperLuigiLogan and SuperBowserLogan, and privatization of SLL[]
On August 30, 2021, Logan unexpectedly re-instated the SuperBowserLogan channel, along with all of its videos, much to the surprise of fans. Many initially assumed the channel had been hacked, but later on, all videos featuring the Nintendo plushies had their thumbnails changed to include the puppets, confirming Logan did it himself. SBL has remained abandoned since.[13]
Over a year after the channel was brought back, on October 25, 2022, the SuperLuigiLogan account was also brought back. The supposed hacking resulted in ten videos being set to public, and a community post simply saying "O" was made. Once more, it was believed that the channel had been hacked, with fans coming up with a variety of theories as to who the culprit could be. Later on, several more videos were reuploaded, and soon enough, every video on the channel was brought back. Fans would later learn from Anthony that Logan had done this himself, and some began to speculate that he had plans to re-instate the original SML channel.[14] On March 19th, 2023, SuperLuigiLogan vanished. A direct link to one of its videos showed that the channel had been set to private, debunking claims that Nintendo had forcibly shut down the channel after discovering its return.[15]
Patreon & GoFundMe[]
Logan opened a Patreon page for fans to donate to him so he could continue uploading videos, with the promise of more content. Logan had also opened up a GoFundMe to help support his channel, with the goal of raising $900,000. These were both eventually closed down due to Logan not giving out Patreon rewards or shout-outs. Logan announced that 30 people had applied for shout-outs, but only three received them. The remaining 27 people have never reportedly received their shout-outs. Logan's reasons for the shoutouts stopping was due to the rest of the cast being "too tired" to do them.

- Mario & Luigi's Stupid and Dumb Adventures: The very first SML series on the channel. This series follows Mario and Mama Luigi, as they and their friends get up to wacky adventures, all while stopping Bowser's schemes. It was cancelled after the third episode of season 3.
- Toad's Mistake: A video trilogy which involved Toad doing something that angers another character (e.g touching Mama Luigi's nickel in the first episode), leading to that character torturing and eventually killing Toad in different ways. The first episode saw a remake in 2017.
- Chef Pee Pee Quits: After being blamed for a mess that Junior had caused, Chef Pee Pee finally snaps and quits his job as Bowser's chef. Now homeless, he tries to find a new job, but fails to do so every time. This series was non-canon to the main SML series, and lasted for seven episodes.
- Luigi's Mansion: After waking up in a haunted house, Luigi is sent on a mission by Professor E. Gadd to capture the ghosts of the SML cast, and bring their bodies back to life. This also lasted for a total of seven episodes.
- Bowser Junior's Summer School: After failing to pass school and cover up his bad grades, Junior is sent off to attend Summer School. There, he and the other students must make it through the entire summer and eventually pass the big test, all the while putting up with their crazy guests and psychotic principal, Principal Steinbeck. This series saw Cody's debut into the SML series, as well as serving as the proper introduction of Joseph. It was later rebooted under the three part 'Summer School' series, serving as a continuation of Cody Goes to Kindergarten.
- Bowser Junior's First Grade: After successfully passing summer school, Junior and his friends now have to make it through the first grade. However their new teacher, Mr. Winkle, turns out to have far worse intentions than they realise.
- Black Yoshi & The Birds: Following the death of Woody's pet bird, Skittle, at the hands of Black Yoshi, her six children, referred to as 'The Angry Birds', show up to take revenge. Although their plans are quickly put aside once the two sides (as well as Toad) start to warm up to one-another. However, Mario is secretly plotting to get rid of the birds with the help of a group of green pigs, culminating in a battle between the birds and pigs and Black Yoshi discovering the true mastermind behind the plot.
- Jeffy's Birthday: A series of videos set on Jeffy's birthday, where he, his parents and friends get up to adventures along the way.
- Bowser Junior's Playtime: Junior and his friends regularly play a roleplay game called "House." Junior plays the father, Joseph the mother, and Cody the daughter. Their other friends, usually Toad, will also appear playing minor characters in their playtime. The theme of every video in the series centers around family issues, with Junior and Joseph frequently getting into fights. Not surprisingly, things turn chaotic very quickly each episode. This series has been revived under the name 'Junior's BIG Playtime'
- Bowser Junior's Game Night: Junior, Joseph, and Cody come together for a big game night. However, every time they play a game, (whether it be Jenga, or Operation), it turns out to not be as fun as they had hoped. This series was initially cancelled after the unreleased eighth episode, but was revived in 2024 with a remade release of the eighth episode.
- Pokémon: Junior and his friends have become Pokémon trainers, and set out to become Pokémon masters. Junior has two goals in mind; to become the Pokémon Champion, and catch a Poliwhirl. However, Cody and especially Joseph aren't going to make it easy for him. Despite Logan saying he would bring the series back in 2019 after obtaining plushies of all original 151 Pokémon, this series ended up being cancelled after the sixth episode. This is due to the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (better known abbreviated as COPPA), and later on the cease-and-desist Nintendo issued against him.
- Jeffy Ball Z: After Jeffy winds up in a "Dragon Ball phase," he dons the persona of Jeffy-Ku, and seeks out to collect all seven Dragon Balls to achieve his one wish. During his escapades, he faces many opponents, including Vegeta (Junior), Jackie Chu, Napa (Joseph), and Lord Frieza (played by Lovell).
- KEN Videos: A series of videos that usually center upon Junior, Joseph and Cody’s shenanigans kickstarted by Ken. These videos can be easily told apart by their Ken-themed titles (usually a pun of a word with Ken’s name in it). This is currently ongoing with 31 episodes.
- Five Nights at Freddy's: A series based off of the widely successful indie horror franchise. These videos focus on Jeffy and Brooklyn Guy (usually with Marvin or Junior and his friends) working as night guards at the different Freddy Fazbear's establishments, where like the games, they must deal with the animatronics who're set out to kill them. This series concluded after the Sister Location video.
- Cody Goes To Kindergarten: After discovering that Cody had been born on a leap year, Jackie Chu ends up sending Cody all the way back to Kindergarten, as he is technically four years old. Now trapped in kindergarten for the rest of the year, Cody must find a way to get out and return back to his regular class. However, the classmates and teachers are not going to make it easy. This series concluded after the sixth episode, and continued on in the rebooted 'Summer School' trilogy.
- Squid Game: Based on the hit 2021 Netflix series of the same name, Squid Game sees the SML cast duking it out in the titular Squid Games to win money. It once started off as a single video in 2021, but has since become a multi-part series based on the show’s second and third seasons.

Main characters[]
The following list includes characters who are the main staple of the series and appear most often. These consist of:
- Marvin: Jeffy's adoptive father and husband of Rose, who is a now retired adventurer wanting to live his retirement peacefully. However, he is constantly forced into the antics of Jeffy and other characters. He was formally Mario prior to the ceast-and-desist
- Rose: Marvin's wife and Jeffy's adoptive mother. She is known to not be the smartest person, and that lands her and her family in trouble. She's notably considered one of the worst SML characters, with many fans disliking her unintelligent nature. She was originally Rosalina prior to the cease-and-desist.
- Jeffy: Marvin and Rose's adopted 21-year-old son. Jeffy was raised by his abusive and neglectful biological mother named Nancy, who later abandoned Jeffy at Marvin's apartment. Jeffy wears a blue helmet, which he does due to the death of his sister Feebee. He also has a pencil in his nose, keeps a diaper outside his pants, and despises green beans.
- Junior: A 17-year-old boy who loves trains (especially Thomas the Tank Engine), Doofy the Dragon, and hanging out with friends Joseph and Cody. Despite his age, Junior is notoriously immature, and has a habit of being extremely arrogant and rude towards other characters. He was originally Bowser Junior prior to the cease-and-desist.
- Joseph: Junior's best friend who loves basketball and playing video games. He lives a very poor life and all by himself, due to his mother faking her death to live a better life after winning the lottery. He was originally a Koopa Troopa who became a Paratroopa prior to the cease-and-desist.
- Cody: Junior's nerdy friend who is in love with a Ken doll he found at a Toys 'R' Us. He's the smartest of his friend group, and has used his intelligence to create advanced scientific inventions including a shrink ray, cloning machine, and time machine. Cody is usually mocked and bullied by several other characters, whether it be for his relationship with Ken, his mother, or people not taking him seriously and ignoring him. He was formerly a Magikoopa (Kamek) prior to the cease-and-desist.
- Chef Pee Pee: A French-born Italian man of Welsh royalty descent, who is the personally employed chef of Braxton. Despite his royal heritage, he is not treated with much respect and is usually the main target of Junior's antics. His personality has drastically shifted, as he now acts much more like a black stereotype.
- Brooklyn T. Guy: An average man from Brooklyn, New York, who is most famous for the large number of jobs he works in the series. He is also known for his sarcastic, yet sometimes immature attitude and love for the Miami Heat and Jimmy Butler. He has a mostly negative relationship with his family, being annoyed by his wife Karen, and having a large hatred for his mother and brother.
Recurring characters[]
The following list is that of characters who aren't seen as much as the main cast, but still regularly feature in SML videos.
- Mr. Goodman: The wealthy CEO, multi-billionaire and landlord of Marvin's house. Goodman was originally the man working all of the jobs before Brooklyn Guy, however sometime in between the events of 'The Koopalings Part 2,' Goodman had inexplicably morphed into the man he's most known as today. He is most commonly seen reporting the latest news in the SML world, and is also known for demanding Marvin's house payments, usually threatening to use his ballsack for something if his demands aren't met.
- Jackie Chu: A stereotypical East-Asian man, with a Ph.D in Advanced Calculus 3. He was initially hired as an assistant for Chef Pee Pee, before going on to work as the teacher of Junior's class at Y U Dumb Elementary School. He has an intense hatred for flies which stems from his the death of his great grandfather, who died upon choking to death on one.
- Simmons: Brooklyn Guy's best friend from Australia, who frequently accompanies him on different police missions. He is currently in a relationship with Brooklyn Guy’s mother, Mrs. Guy
- Jonathan: The younger brother of Brooklyn Guy who lives in their mother's basement. He has a weird obsession with anime and is extremely perverted, highlighted by his desire to steal Karen from his brother.
- The Chief: The head of the police force in the SML universe, usually assigning Brooklyn Guy and Simmons different missions. He replaced Goodman as the head policeman after the latter's character change. He is the only non-Nintendo character to receive a human redesign following the cease-and-desist, as he was originally a Blue M&M.
- Judge Pooby: The alter ego of Pooby, who serves as a judge as the name implies. Originally, Judge Pooby used to immediately sentence most people to jail regardless of their crime unless they could be proven innocent, but this aspect has been dropped in favour of him taking his job much more seriously.
- Karen: Brooklyn Guy's over-caring and annoying wife, also from Brooklyn. She usually refers to her husband as "Boiny".
- Penelope: One of the few female students in Y U Dumb, who is Brooklyn Guy's daughter, Junior's ex-girlfriend and the current girlfriend of Bully. She dislikes her dad despite his efforts to care about her, and can be immature and bratty. Like Cody, she is also quite smart.
- Ronald McDonald: The famous, yet depraved CEO and mascot of McDonalds. Compared to his official appearances, he is extremely greedy, foul mouthed, violent and sprouts a drinking problem. He mainly appears in videos focusing on McDonalds, and is a live action character portrayed by Anthony.
- Bully Bill: A stereotypical and generic school-bully, who is Jeffy's arch rival and the son of Muriel. He frequently mocks and calls Jeffy names (such as the r-slur), which always results in him being beaten up by Jeffy. Currently, he is the boyfriend of Penelope. He was originally a Bullet Bill prior to the cease-and-desist.
- Ken: An inanimate Ken doll from the Barbie toyline, who Cody now considers his boyfriend after finding him at Toys 'R' Us. Despite Joseph frequently pointing out Ken's inanimacy, Cody usually insists that Ken is alive. Despite the former’s claims, there have been numerous instances where Ken is shown moving around on his own and performing basic human actions. He frequently accompanies Cody whenever he goes to Junior's house.
- Steve Staleburger: A Hollywood talent agent and movie announcer with a plethora of other careers.
- Clarissa Fitzpatrick: The abusive and neglectful mother of Patrick, and the teacher of the kindergarten at Y U Dumb Elementary.
- Principal Steinbeck: The principal of Y U Dumb Elementary. He is extremely rude and arrogant, and often lashes out at people. He also had an extreme distaste for Junior and his friends. He was thought to have been retired after 2016, but returned in 2021. His appearances have only become more frequent since thanks to the Cody Goes to Kindergarten series.
- Susan: A nurse and an attentive assistant of Brooklyn Guy's, often acting as his hypewoman.
- Cody's Kindergarten Class: A group of toddlers who attend the kindergarten at Y U Dumb Elementary. With the exceptions of Freddy and Mikey, the classmates are notable for being very one-note, and usually have one-defying trait that makes up their entire character.
- Freddy: A young boy in a blue and white striped t-shirt who serves as Cody's only friend in the Kindergarten. Despite his well-mannered personality, he has a tendency to fart loudly from eating animal crackers or wearing pull-ups.
- Mikey: Cody's arch-nemesis and main antagonist of the kindergarten series. He is the young six year old son of Rose's ex-boyfriend Candy Randy (who he believes killed his mother), who despite his age, is very knowledgeable in sexual culture. He also swears often. He often mistreats Cody and his friends, and tends to sabotage Cody's attempts to get out of Kindergarten.
- Daryl: The autistic son of Principal Steinbeck, who is only ever seen in the playroom pressing the 'Bear' button on a Leapfrog Learning Friends 100 Words Bilingual Electronic Book. He will freak out whenever someone mentions, or presses the button of a different animal (even other bears). Despite being mute throughout the series, the finale to Cody Goes To Kindergarten reveals that Daryl was always capable of regular speech, and is implied to have been a spy for his father.
- Alex: A kid in the kindergarten class that is obsessed with the colour purple. In part 5 he is kidnapped by Mr. Winkle, and does not appear in the finale or the Summer School revival that follows CGTK.
- Taylor: A young girl in the class who likes playing with puzzles and spelling lewd things.
- Ashley: A student in the class who is only ever seen colouring.
- Unnamed Students: This is a set of two students who only appeared in the playroom of the kindergarten in the first episode of Cody Goes To Kindergarten. They did not have any appearances following the first episode, and their names are unknown.
Minor characters[]
Characters, who similar to the recurring cast make frequent appearances in videos. However their appearances are much less often.
- Charleyyy: The live action host and mascot of the widely popular 'Charleyyy and Friends' franchise. Each episode sees him get up to whacky adventures with his friends (the audience). He is Braxton's favorite celebrity. The three Ys in his name are to show each time he was divorced.
- Patrick: Clarissa's hyperactive son who has severe ADHD. He is heavily mistreated by his mother, who usually abandons him in places like parks to not deal with him. He is a close friend of Junior, and a recurring nuisance towards Marvin. His signature catchphrase is 'That's so cwazy!'
- Felipe: An illegal immigrant child who originated from Mexico, with a heavily offensive stereotypical Mexican accent. He is Patrick's best friend, and usually follows him saying 'That's so cwazy!' by saying that it is 'loco' (Spanish for crazy.)
- The Avengers of D: A team of superheroes, mostly made up of previous ex-boyfriends of Rose.
- Super D: One of Rose's many exes, the second introduced following D-Money Sr., and the founder of The Avengers of D. He is a supervillain who hides his villainy by performing heroic acts. He is one of Marvin's greatest rivals, with the two usually fighting over who's better for Rose. According to Brooklyn Guy, the D in his name stands for 'Dingaling', and his real name is Zack Daniel. Sprite is his main weakness.
- Super Big D: Another one of Rose's ex-boyfriends who also possesses superpower. However unlike Super D, Big D uses his powers for heroism. He and Super D were initially rivals, but settled their differences and became friends in his debut episode 'Jeffy's Crayons.' He is also an amputee, as his right leg was amputated after being run over by a train.
- Mosquito Man: A mosquito themed superhero who is friends with Super D. He received his "powers" after being bit by a mosquito and contracting West Nile Virus. After having unprotected sex and not contracting an STD, he believes himself to've been granted sexual immunity from the mosquito bite; although, he is unsure if this is the case or if he just got lucky. So far his beliefs of having sexual immunity are true, as he has yet to contract an STD. He is based on a real life incident in which Logan contracted West Nile Virus in the 3rd Grade.
- The Huckerdoos: The neighbours of Marvin's family, who portray the image of a perfect nuclear family. However they are actually quite dysfunctional behind closed doors. They were initially recurring characters when they debuted, but have been mostly phased out due to their large negative reception from fans.
- Hank Huckerdoo: The father and head of the Huckerdoos. Despite his caring and friendly demeanor, Hank is extremely strict and abusive, desperate to ensure his family retain their perfect image as much as possible. He is also shown to abusive when his children fail to complete tasks, and is a strict follower of the bible and Levicticus 18:22. He has won the Best Lawn of The Year championship for 11 years straight.
- Timmy Huckerdoo: The son of the Huckerdoo family and the ex-boyfriend of Cody. Unlike Hank, Timmy is much more nicer and caring than his father, and is shown to be quite rebellious to his father’s lifestyle. He also used to date Cody, however it’s implied that they broke up off-screen.
- Suzanne Huckerdoo: The mother of the Huckerdoo family and Hank's wife. Because of Hank consistently mowing the lawn, Suzanne feels very depressed because of his lack of interaction with her. Despite this however, she does follow on with most of his rules, and hides her depression by acting friendly.
- Susie Huckerdoo: The daughter of the Huckerdoo family. Like Timmy, she's very disobeint of the rules. Other than that, she has almost nothing known about her, which is due to her appearing the least out of any Huckerdoo.
- Crystal: A desperate, hustling prostitute and stripper who dances at the strip club and is willing to do anything for money.
- Pumpkin: One of Logan's cats who occasionally inserts himself into videos.
- Chives: The Goodman family's private butler, who is frequently mistreated by them. Despite his desperation to quit, he is unable to thanks to Goodman's strict policies. Prior to his debut, he was an off-screen character that was usually mentioned by Richard.
- Braxton: The strict and lazy father of Junior, most commonly seen in his bedroom watching Charleyyy and Friends. Despite the love he has displayed for Junior on numerous occasions, Braxton is noted to be extremely short-tempered and abusive, violently beating his son and Chef Pee Pee on multiple instances. Braxton has made decreasing appearances overtime despite being one of the main characters of SML since its beginning, turning him into a minor character. He was originally Bowser prior to the cease-and-desist.
- Booger: Duggie's cousin and the pet dinosaur of Jeffy, whose egg was dug up from the backyard by the latter and Junior. She was originally believed to be male until the video 'Jeffy's Eggs', where Duggie confirmed she was actually female. Duggie also usually refers to her as 'Pookie.'
- Lil' T/Todd: A minor friend of Junior and a rapper. He is often naive and energetic, but mostly nice to his friends despite being treated horribly most of the time, which often leads to him being beaten or killed. He sometimes makes raps with his partner, Ray Cheesy. Like Braxton, he used to be a main character before decreasing in appearances. He was originally Toad prior to the cease-and-desist.
- Woody: A former main character of the series, serving as a parody of the Toy Story franchise's main character. He is presented as a legendary hunter of the wild who mainly hunts for shrimps, otherwise called 'shrimpos' by him. He is one of the most popular characters from the classic era of SML, and has made infrequent appearances in the series despite the demand from fans for him to return full-time.
- Luis: Marvin’s younger ghost hunting twin brother, who is much more successful than his brother despite his mostly shy and easily frightened personality. He was originally Luigi prior to the Cease-&-Desist.
- Warvin: Marvin's opposite, and greedy rival. He robs houses and likes to treasure hunt. He and Waluis have been retconned to be evil clones of Marvin and Luis. He was originally Wario prior to the Cease-&-Desist.
- Waluis: Luis' opposite. He is smarter than his partner, Wario. He and Warvin have been retconned to be evil clones of Marvin and Luis. He was originally Waluigi prior to the Cease-&-Desist.
- Shrek: A parody of the titular Dreamworks character who is portrayed as a gluttonous ogre with a massive love for cheesecake, and he is usually seen sitting on the toilet. He joined the main cast in a voting session Logan held in his early days on YouTube. His appearances have since dwindled, but does still appear from time to time. Like Woody, he is also a very popular character from the classic era.
- Ya Boi Duggie: A lazy black dinosaur, who is Booger's cousin and Marvin's roommate, serving as a heavily offensive black stereotype for his love of KFC and watermelon flavoured Kool-Aid. Despite his offensiveness, he is perhaps most known for his love of the Call of Duty series, usually begging Marvin in extreme lengths so that he can get the newest game in the series or something else he desires. Duggie is also very ruthless, as he will kill people if it means he gets closer to what he wants. He was originally Black Yoshi prior to the cease-and-desist. As well as that, he used to be a main character on the channel, but has since appeared less often.
- Prince Abu Dhabi: The fictional prince of Dubai, India serving as a caricature of Dubai's real life prince, Fazza. He owns the soccer team the Saudi Arabian Camels, who he says "sucks camel weiner." His name deriviates from the real life city of Abu Dhabi.
- Cameel Habib Habab: A talking camel from the middle east. His name is as-in Camel (Cameel) Corn on The Cob (Habeeb Habab). He formally took the role of a stereotypical middle eastern scammer, usually asking people to pay for their doorknobs. He has since left this role, and regular appears alongside Prince Abu Dhabi, acting as the prince's method of transport.
- Hansel: A stereotypical homeless man who usually acts as a nuisance towards Marvin, but has a positive relationship with Jeffy and Junior. He enjoys eating cheeseballs and cheeseburgers as well as drinking beer.
- Richard Goodman: Goodman's son who acts almost exactly like him. He likes saying things are "poor". He became a recurring character in 2020, but was demoted to a minor character later on.
- Benjamin Goodman: Goodman's spoiled and bratty baby boy, who acts almost exactly like his family. He also has a tendency to cry by going "WAH!"
- Judy: Cody's mom, who is frequently mocked for being "fat" by other characters, primarily Junior and Joseph. She is also Jewish but has some unusual ideas about the faith, such as thinking Jews were oppressed by the Nazi Cheeseburger instead of Hitler.
- Tyrone: Judy's husband and Cody's black dad. Despite being shown to care about his family, he has cheated on Judy numerous times.
- Loan Dolphin: A dolphin scam artist working at the black market, who has been on the run for several years. Characters usually go to him when they need to get something illegally from him or to help them with something. Marvin usually mistakes him for a Loan Shark, which is what he's based on.
- Craig: SML's depiction of Satan who is cruel and sadistic, taking pleasure in stealing souls. He typically says "SO EVIL!" when he enjoys an evil deed. He is very dedicated to his job, and currently is in possession of Joseph and Chef Pee Pee's souls.
- Nanny Nesbit: Craig's alter-ego, who he sometimes poses as. She is a very strict nanny, and can sometimes be abusive.
- Mickey Mouse: The previous host of American Idol who would introduce the contestants.
- Minnie Mouse: A former supporting character of the series, she is the girlfriend of Tony the Tiger & Mickey Mouse.
- Goofy: A character in SML based on Goofy from Disney. Unlike his Disney counterpart, he is a selfish drug addict who also competed in American Idol but failed in episode 6.
- PJ Crenshaw: An extremely popular kid in Junior's class, usually seen as the cool kid. Prior to his physical debut, he had only been mentioned in previous videos. He is the replacement of Roy Gethard.
- Doofy the Dragon: A formally retired character of the series. He was Junior's favorite TV show character, who found a way to kill himself in every episode he was in (which Junior was entertained by). He was retired due to SML getting age restricted. Later on however, Doofy would return, and has made brief cameos in recent years, notably in the Jeffy Ball Z episodes as the SML version of Shenron. In-universe, he has his own cereal called Doofy-O's.
- Dr. Fredrick Finkleshitz: A mad scientist who is responsible for many catastrophes of the killer shrimp and the alien in "Alien Jeffy!". Like Doofy, He was retired after SML's age restriction. He was later brought back from retirement. Goodman commonly gets his name wrong.
- Mr. Winkle: A pedophelic man, who usually tries to hide his intentions through posing as a teacher. He debuted in the first grade series where he constantly tried to sexually harass the students.
- Scooter: A clone of Jeffy made when using Cody's "C-C-C-Cloning Machine". He commonly refers to people as "Fat Boy", and likes fighting (he pretends to hit people by punching the air). Like Richard, he appeared frequently in 2020, but was demoted to a minor character later on. As of 2023, Scooter has likely been retired from the series.
- Tyler: A boy who temporarily filled in for Joseph in Junior's friend group, as well as appearing outside of that role in other videos. Tyler appears to be selfish and has no respect for anyone, as shown when he calls his mother the b-word numerous times and bullies Cody. He was later arrested for faking his death in the episode "The Woodchipper!"
- Bubbles: A rapist who takes joy in raping people. When SML became more family friendly, this aspect of his character was heavily toned down (though not outright removed).
- Kody: An evil lookalike of Cody who enjoys eating people's eyeballs. Due to their similarities, Cody is often mistaken for him.
- Mr. Meaner: A criminal who enjoys robbing, kidnapping and murdering people. His name is a play on 'misdemeanor.'
- Barbara Guy: Brooklyn Guy and Jonathan's elderly mother, who respects the latter more than his brother.
- Screwball: A pedophile clown who used to live in Joseph's house. Despite his pedophelic tendencies, Junior and his friends get along well with him.
- Muriel: Bully's mother and the lunch lady of Y U Dumb Elementary. She's notorious for her 'meat slop surprise' which is disliked by all students except Jeffy, whom Muriel had a crush on. She is also an ex-girlfriend of Brooklyn Guy.
- Billy: An AIDS obsessed ventriloquist puppet based off of Jigsaw from the Saw franchise. He enjoys playing games with the SML cast, which usually involve him putting AIDS on a random object.
- Officer Cuddlesworth: The chief's pet dog who serves as a member of the police force's K-9 Unit. When Simmons "died", he took over as Brooklyn Guy's partner. He's made a few appearances after this.
- Dak: The third ex-boyfriend of Rosalina is introduced. He's a football player, who turns out not to be as good as everyone hopes. He constantly makes excuses for his poor performances.
Forgotten/Retired/One-time characters[]
These are characters who have either made one appearance in the show, were forgotten about, killed off, or in some cases retired from SML.
- Mama Luigi: A former main character who was a clone of Luigi. He was idiotic and didn't usually take situations seriously. He would end up sacrificing his life in order to protect his friends from Junior's Dad. Mama Luigi did reappear in the remake of "Toad's Mistake", but hasn't returned since.
- Shark Puppet: A shark that Jeffy illegally adopted after he caught him whilst fishing, who he named Sharky. He is portrayed by the YouTuber of the same name.
- Does Bad Things Guy: Brooklyn Guy's evil twin brother, who as the name implies, does bad things. Starting from October 2016, he would secretly replace Brooklyn Guy in a period lasting until May 2017 (7 Months). In the video 'The Secret Door', he was revealed to have been responsible for the 26 murders he claimed had happened within the current SML residence, all happening because the victims opened a door he told them not to do. He was shot dead by Brooklyn Guy in the same episode.
- Chaz and Junior Junior: Two babies who were created with Cody's B-B-B-Baby Machine, being born when Junior and Cody mixed their DNA with Chef Pee Pee's. Chaz was created with Cody and Chef Pee Pee's, whereas Junior Junior was made with Junior and Chef Pee Pee's. Their only appearances were in the video “Chef Pee Pee's Kids!” and it's 2021 remake.
- The Angry Birds: The children of Woody's deceased pet bird Skittle, who served as the protagonists of Black Yoshi & The Birds. In the series, they sought revenge against Duggie (Black Yoshi) for killing their mother, before they all eventually allied to fight off Mario and the Green Pigs. Following the series' finale, their current whereabouts are unknown.
- Big Red: The eldest of Skittle's children, and leader of The Angry Birds. He is a parody of Red.
- Speedy: An extremely fast yellow bird, who speaks so fast that he has developed a speech impediment. He is a parody of Chuck.
- Blue: A blue bird who is much quieter than his siblings, yet still feels happy around them. He is best known for his deep suicidal thoughts. He is a parody of Blue.
- Taliban: A black bird with severe anger problems, blowing up whenever he gets too angry. His anger supposedly made him kill his father and tie up Skittle at one point, which was implied to be the cause of Blue's depression if true. He is a parody of Bomb.
- Toni: A white bird who is disliked by his siblings for following white girl stereotypes. He is also gay, as he is dating Chad. He is a parody of Matilda.
- Chad: A green bird who serves as Toni's boyfriend, although he is not considered a proper member of The Angry Birds. He is a parody of Hal.
- Poof: An wimpish and cowardly orange bird, who can be brave when his brothers need him most. He also appears to have died during the finale to Black Yoshi & The Birds. He is a parody of Bubbles.
- Mickey Seacrest: The host of SML American Idol who would introduce the contestants.
- Chef Poo Poo: Chef Pee Pee's extremely dimwitted clone, who was created after Junior pushed him into the toaster. Unlike his original counterpart, he gets along well with Junior.
- Tony The Tiger: Another former main character who was originally the deuteragonist of the series. He is quite stupid and constantly makes weird noises, as well as displaying constantly changing opinions on topics like Frosted Flakes, and poop.
- Roy Gethard: The former cool kid of Junior's class, who was extremely egotistical and treated those who weren't as 'cool' as him with disrespect. He was retired in PJ Crenshaw's debut episode, who subsequently took over his role. He is based off of Roy Gebhard, an enemy of Lovell in real life and ex-boyfriend of Chilly.
- Mr. Pig: Another former main character who was one of Mario's best friends early on in the show. He appeared mostly in 2007 and 2008 and only a few times during the first two seasons of SML Movies. He was later revealed as the true antagonist of Black Yoshi & The Birds, in which he was killed, and made a final appearance in 'The Big Thanksgiving!'. He has not appeared since outside of a few mentions and cameos every once in a while. According to a cameo on Lance's channel, he has not returned due to nobody liking him anymore.
- Princess Peach: The princess of the Mushroom Kingdom who used to be Mario's wife. She was often annoying and arrogant, only caring about Mario's appearance. She later divorced and broke up with him for being bald. She is hated by people due to her personality.
- Dewey Donedidit: A con artist who poses as a TV producer, who used his work to scam Mario, Rosalina, and Jeffy into their own TV show. Dewey is widely hated by fans of SML, and Tito has expressed regret of playing the character for the backlash he got.
- Precious: Logan's favorite pet cat who appeared in videos until she sadly passed away as a result of Stage 4 Kidney Failure.
- Mr. Potato Head: A popular toy who got Papa John's sued because he kept losing his limbs in pizzas.
- Jacques Pierre François: A famous French-born painter and the biological father of Jeffy. In 'Jeffy's Parents', it was stated that he had taken his life, only for it to be revealed in 'Jeffy's 18th Birthday' that he faked his death for five years in order to make his paintings go up in value. He regrets being the father of Jeffy, due to the fact Nancy both drugged and raped him after stumbling upon her home, which conceived Jeffy. He was killed off in ‘Jeffy’s 21st Birthday’.
- Nancy: The overarching and main antagonist of the series, who is the abusive biological mother of Jeffy and Feebee. She is an alcoholic and drug addict who abused her children, but was later arrested after being caught by Mario. Nancy would attempt to kidnap Jeffy on his 18th birthday to get the $1,000,000 his father left for him in his will, but was presumed to’ve died during the events of it. In ‘Jeffy’s 19th Birthday!' however, she was revealed to still be alive, but was finally killed off in the same episode. Despite being dead, she has continued to appear in flashbacks and dream sequences.
- J.R: A huge fan of Charleyyy & Friends like Braxton, who rivals his claim of being Charleyyy's biggest fan.
- Lucifur: A cat owned by Craig who lost 8 of his lives.
- Harry: A boy from London who moved to Florida due to constantly being bullied. In his home country, he was frequently called 'Taco Head' because of his head being shaped like one. He only appeared during 2020 as a temporary replacement for Cody, as Pablo was quarantining due to the COVID pandemic. Once Pablo returned full time, Harry was demoted to more a recurring character, but stopped appearing by November 2020. It was later stated by Cody that Harry had in fact died. In real life, Harry's permanent retirement was due to Logan losing his puppet and being unable to find it since.
- FeeBee: Jeffy's half-sister, who was birthed after Nancy had intercourse with her landlord, Terry. She was a r*pe victim of Mr. Winkle's depraved brother CJ, and shares a lot of similarities with Jeffy. It was also revealed that she was killed after being hit by a van while learning to ride a bike. The aforementioned event is why Jeffy always wears his helmet.
- CJ: Mr. Winkle's brother, who follows in his footsteps of being a pedophile. He was introduced in 'Jeffy's 20th Birthday', where it was shown he had close relations with Nancy, which he took advantage of to sexually assault and r*pe Feebee. Jeffy eventually avenged his sister by using his monster truck to murder CJ.

Criticisms and Controversies[]
General Controversies[]
Logan's content has been the subject of heavy criticism for years. This criticism is primarily directed at the boring and sometimes repetitive plots,[16][17] and the overall unlikability of a majority of the cast. This criticism would mostly start around 2014-2015 regarding Junior, who many fans disliked for his and whiny attitude and childish antics as well as the frequent lack of punishment he would receive for the torment he would subject Chef Pee Pee to.[18] This criticism would further when Jeffy debuted in early 2016, as he too would usually receive a lack of punishment for his treatment of Marvin. As well as that, many also took issue to Jeffy for appearing to initially be characterised as an offensive ableist stereotype, something Logan would respond to by stating Jeffy was rather meant to be in similar vain to Chef Poo Poo.[19]
Slurs and Racism + ‘Character Torture’[]
One of the most infamous poorly received videos is 'Jeffy's Bad Word!'. The video involves Jeffy learning the f-slur from Marvin [formerly Mario], after he calls Hansel the slur after getting in front of his car on the way to the store. Marvin's saying of the slur causes Jeffy to begin repeating it, and it gets the former assaulted by a 'Black Lights Activist' (Tyrone). When returning home, Marvin spanks Jeffy due to the incident, only for Jeffy to call the police on Marvin and claim he had "r*ped" him. This results in the Nintendo mascot being arrested and the public turning on him, while Jeffy goes on national television and receives sympathy for being a "survivor" of "r*pe".[20]
The episode received heavy scrutiny by fans, who criticised the video for being in their words, 'Marvin torture p***.' As well as that, they heavily criticised the treatment of Marvin from other characters who appeared in the video, and primarily took major issue with Jeffy receiving getting away with his actions. This would lead fans to adopt the infamous 'Squidward torture p***' term, and categorise certain SML videos into a sub-genre entitled 'torture videos." These videos are usually distinguished by it's main plot focusing on a certain character being severely mistreated throughout the runtime, all while their abusers go on to suffer a lack of consequences; Marvin, Chef Pee Pee, Brooklyn Guy[21] and Cody are often the subject of these videos.
An example of a Cody "torture" video is 'Cody's Bad Word!', which shares a similar plot to Jeffy's Bad Word. The episode Junior and Joseph accusing Cody of being racist after he says 'inward' during a game of Jenga, which the former two believe to of actually been 'n-word'. Like Jeffy's Bad Word, this episode was also met with intense negative reception, with unanimous criticism being directed towards Cody's treatment in the video. Junior and Joseph also received extreme criticism for their behavior in the video, as they continued to insist that Cody was "racist" despite him constantly proving otherwise. This only made them more hated among the community than they were at the time.[22]
This would not be the only time SML would come under fire for the usage of the slur. This was predominantly due to its usage by Logan and Lance, due to them not being black. Although most usages were censored, and likely given permission from Lovell to use, Logan would still be criticised for using the n-word on a channel with a large child audience. The most infamous usage being in ‘Jeffy the Rapper’, which features Jeffy saying the hard R completely uncensored.[23]
Human puppet redesigns[]
In late 2019 due to the ongoing COPPA issues with YouTube, Logan would attempt to redesign the Nintendo characters into puppets, who he would then be able to call his own original characters. With the help of Elaina, he created new human versions of Junior, Joseph, Cody and Bowser which debuted in the episode 'The Human Potion.'[24] From 2020, puppet versions of Mario[25], Rosalina, Bully Bill[26], Toad[27], Black Yoshi[28], the Police Chief[29] (despite being an M&M character), Luigi[30], Wario, and Waluigi[31] would also debut in future videos. Fans quickly took issue to the puppets upon their debut, calling them creepy and unappealing compared to the original plushies. Joseph's puppet is a notable example of this, with many calling his redesign 'creepy' for its teeth and lack of eyebrows.[32] However, the puppet for Black Yoshi (who became known as 'Ya Boi Duggie' from his redesign debut) was far more controversial. Multiple accusations would be made in the coming years regarding Logan, claiming he intentionally designed the puppet to resemble blackface. This was due to how the puppet's mouth was structured which made the front lips bare a resemblance to the red lips used in blackface. What also didn't help was how Duggie had always been characterised as a black stereotype.[33]
In addition to using the puppets less often as a response to the backlash, slightly changed versions of some of the initial few puppets would be used permanently from the video 'The School Dance', with Joseph noticeably gaining eyebrows and having the size of his teeth cut down.[34] The human puppets would later become permanent following the Cease & Desist.
"Jeffy's Tantrum!" controversy[]
On March 24, 2017, Logan uploaded the SML short "Jeffy's Tantrum!" to the SML channel. The video received mixed reception at first, but in December of the same year, it would end up generating massive controversy, which would result in the demonetisation of the SML channel, and what some fans deem as the start of SML's downfall. The short revolves around Jeffy wanting to get the mobile game SpongeBob Moves In! from the App Store; however, Marvin refuses due to having already bought Jeffy a game the previous week, causing Jeffy to have his titular tantrum, and attempt several outlandish ways to convince Marvin to buy the game. After Jeffy throws various items off the balcony, Marvin finally snaps and retaliates towards Jeffy's actions by hitting him with a belt. A transition to two weeks after the event shows a now depressed Jeffy, who attempts to hang himself as a result of not getting the game. His attempt is suddenly stopped by Junior however, who gives Jeffy a $10 Apple gift card so he can finally buy the game. However once Jeffy tries to find his iPad, Marvin tells Jeffy that he had to sell it for a new red couch as the old one was apart of the objects Jeffy threw off of the balcony. Jeffy then becomes enraged at hearing this, and violently screams.[35]
On December 12, 2017, an article was published by UK tabloid company The Sun, regarding a mother and her disgust towards Logan's content, specifically highlighting Jeffy's Tantrum and how it had allegedly “taught her son to tie nooses” (referring to Jeffy's attempted suicide seen in the short). As she explained, her younger son came to her saying his brother was attempting to hang himself with Christmas lights. Once confronted, the child stated that he was attempting to imitate Jeffy's behavior. The mother subsequently banned the child from ever watching SML again.[36] Noticeably, the mother put full blame on the video, all while not acknowledging her own lapse in supervision. While Logan would apologise and unlist the video from the channel, the article had drastic consequences for SML, as YouTube would demonetise (or even age restrict) almost every video uploaded to the channel at that time.[37]
Criticism from fans quickly fell upon the mother of the child, who primarily noted her failure to monitor what her child was watching online, as well as her failure to take accountability for failing to do so. YouTube was also criticised for the action they took against the channel, with fans comparing it to that of the action taken against channels associated with Elsagate. Following this, Logan would move uploads to SuperLuigiLogan, under suggestion by Dabhdude, but would then move to SuperBowserLogan following SLL's own demonetization.[38] Jeffy’s Tantrum was later privated in January, 2018, but reuploads of the video remain on the platform.
The video "Jeffy Plays Minecraft!" was made as a response to the article, being uploaded two days after the article was published. The video focuses on Jeffy imitating actions from the game Minecraft and a parody of Dude Perfect called "Dudely Awesome," leading Mario to have serious action taken against both pieces of media. The video itself serves as a satirical commentary on how parents will tend to blame the content their kids are into for their actions, rather than their failure to monitor what said content it is their kids watch, similar to what the mother in The Sun's article did by pinning the blame on Logan's content.[39]
In later years, fans have begun to question the legitimacy of the article, primarily due to the claim of Jeffy “teaching” the child how to tie a noose, despite the video never actually showing him perform this action: the noose is shown already tied. Fans interpreted this as the mother either not having watched the video, or exaggerating to ensure action was taken. Many fans have also speculated that the story was a hoax, and that the mother had made it up to ensure YouTube would act. Other fans have also pointed to The Sun’s notorious history of spreading false or misleading information in their articles as potential evidence of the story being faked.
Good Morning America[]
On May 8, 2018 episode of Good Morning America, the show featured a segment regarding YouTube content for kids, specifically highlighting SML at one point. The show bashed the channel for the violent and inappropriate content shown towards its young audience, also noting the violent and vulgar behaviour depicted by Jeffy, who the show claims was supposed to be a 'role-model' for younger fans. The show also interviewed three kids who watched Logan's content, as well as their mothers, with said kids calling the videos "addictive and attractive."[40]
Many fans bashed GMA for its biasedness depicted in the segment, citing the bad parenting of the interviewed children's mothers, as well as the children themselves, mass disliking the video.[41] Logan had always clarified in his channel description and vlogs that SML is supposed to be for mature audiences, however people like Dabhdude criticized Logan's unawareness of his younger fans, noting that he should've put a warning screen before the start of every episode. In a vlog, Logan reacted to the segment and called GMA "manipulative, scripted, and biased".[42]
Feud with EDP445[]
In February 2018, Logan expressed interest in working with YouTuber EDP445. EDP reciprocated, and the two began to work out a deal in which he would join the SML crew. As part of the planned arrangement, he would be paid $5,000 a month, and Logan would further pay upfront for Bryant and his friend Philippe's trip to Super Bowl LII. However, the deal never went through, and Logan's behavior made it appear as if he had ghosted Bryant.[43]
On October 14, 2018, EDP uploaded a video in which he ranted about Logan for his ghosting and treatment of him. Further, in the video's description, EDP claimed that he and Logan were supposed to meet and hang out for two weeks in Los Angeles starting on September 30. However, he learned that Logan had gone to Las Vegas instead without contacting him.[44] This led to Lovell coming to Logan's defense, with him claiming that Logan didn't have time to meet with him due to spending only half-a-day in Vegas. He further criticised EDP for his failure to afford Super Bowl tickets on his own, and for not thanking Logan for paying for his trip.[45]
After EDP was caught trying to meet up with a minor in 2021, many SML fans joked about the drama, noting that Logan dodged a bullet by not going through with the deal. On December 30, 2023, Logan uploaded the video "Jeffy Catches a Predator!" a parody of the To Catch a Predator TV series. The episode notably sees a parody of EDP physically appear in puppet form, and is voiced through archival audio from his videos and the aforementioned event. Furthermore, EDP's appearance is a direct parody of said event, with Joseph inviting him to Junior's house so they can "eat some cupcakes," leading to him being caught and arrested.[46]
Chilly Drama and severing ties with the Jimenez family[]
Following two weeks of inactivity on Chilly's YouTube channel after the last video was uploaded on November 29, 2019, many people speculated that Logan and Chilly had broken up. On December 15, Chilly's sister Damaris Chapman spoke out on her Twitter and Instagram accounts that Logan had cheated on Chilly with a hooker.[47] She also said that Logan had told Tito not to tell Chilly about his adultery, which he told her about, causing Logan to rip all of Tito's plushies. Then he angrily told both Chilly and Tito to get out of the house.[48]
Logan would later confirm on his Instagram account that he had been involved in a falling out with both Chilly and Tito for the past month, and it culminated with him ousting them from the house. Tito also confirmed on his own Instagram why he snitched on Logan.[citation needed] On February 3, 2020, Logan confirmed on his own Instagram that he and Chilly had broken up for over a month.[49]
Logan stated that Chilly was in disbelief at him moving on from their relationship. During this whole period, Logan had gotten into a new relationship with a girl named Adriana. However, Logan and the SML crew would eventually cut ties with her due to several things she would end up doing, such as using Logan for money,[50] picking fights with the crew,[51][52] and even attempting to stab Logan with a screwdriver.[53]
CDusk Interview[]
It was later revealed in separate interviews with Logan and Chilly, hosted by CDusk, that Chilly had never actually cheated on Logan. The man who Chilly had supposedly cheated on Logan with, Roy Gebhard, had apparently only been invited to the house, and nothing else. Logan had confirmed this in his interview, as he clarified that he didn't personally know the whole story. This contradicted a claim Lovell had previously made, as he alleged that Roy was the one Chilly cheated on. It was then revealed in Chilly's interviews Logan was the one who had hooked up with somebody at the Super-Bowl, who fans later found out to have been Adriana. Not only did this prove Chilly's innocence, but heavily indicated Logan and Adriana were together longer than they were made out to be.[54]
Reconciliation[]
On October 28, 2020, fans of Tito's channel Titototter would be surprised to discover that Logan's character, Jet the Hawk, had returned in the video 'Jet's Dying Wish', in which he was temporarily killed off.[55] This began to fuel slight speculation that Logan had made amends with Chilly and Tito. On August 31st 2021, fans would be shocked to learn that Logan and Chilly appeared to have gotten back together, as Chilly would upload a vlog to her channel in which she dropped of a Taco Bell sign that would be used in Jeffy's 17th Birthday, where she and Logan would kiss.[56] This was later fully confirmed on Christmas that same year, where Logan and Chilly not only confirmed they were back together, but revealed that they were also having a baby.[57] Additionally, Chilly has seemed to make amends with Lance, as he has now made a small handful of appearances on her channel (something he used to be absent on due to Chilly not liking him). On July 7th, 2022, the day before the one-year anniversary of the original SML channel being deleted, Lilly Thirtyacre was born.[58]
Swatting and coverup[]
On December 16, 2019, Logan received a call from the Escambia County Sheriff's Office telling him to come out with his hands up. However, The Police Force was not at his house the moment he received the call. Later, Logan told Lance to get out of the house so he wouldn't get involved. However, a SWAT team encountered Lance afterwards and asked him where Logan was. Logan later came out of the house and was handcuffed by police, claiming that he was likely being swatted after a police officer confirmed to him that someone had called the police, reporting that Logan was shooting his neighbor's windows with an AK-47. Chilly later exited the house, and the police figured out that nothing was going on, which, according to Logan, made them annoyed due to the amount of crime in the area. The footage was leaked nearly nine months later, on September 6, 2020.[59] Two days after the footage leaked, on September 8, Lance released a video on his channel where he and Logan talked about the swatting. The video quickly went viral, even reaching #2 on the trending charts of YouTube.[60]
Following the video's release, fans would go on to speculate who could have been responsible for the swatting. A few days later, fans would find an old message from November of 2019, warning the community about a user named SkipDip plotting to swat Logan.[61] SkipDip was already a known figure amongst SML fans at the time, having orchestrated a mass false flagging incident towards SML, where he led multiple fans to mass-report Logan's videos. While he claimed to have done this to make Logan admit that his Patreon was used to scam fans, his main goal was to ultimately force Logan to retire Jeffy and Junior, due to the amount of focus they were getting compared to older characters. As of today, the identity of the perpetrator remains unknown, but it is largely agreed that SkipDip was behind it.[62]
Cease and desist letter from Nintendo[]
In February 2021, it was revealed through a Twitter DM, and later a video on Lance's channel[63] that the licensed Mario plushies that had been used in SML since the channel's creation would no longer be used in videos following a cease-and-desist letter that Logan had received from Nintendo.[64] In the letter, Nintendo stated that they did not want their family-friendly characters to be associated with the type of content Logan was making with them. Despite Logan saying that his content was always meant to be a parody of Nintendo's properties, he would comply with Nintendo and replace the plushies with the human puppets. Despite initial scepticism from fans who believed the letter was faked, Logan would quickly confirm the letter's legitimacy. First through a comment on Dabhdude's video regarding the situation,[65] and later through the aforementioned video uploaded to Lance's channel.
On March 16, 2021, Logan uploaded a video to a channel formerly owned by Elaina, in which he explained that he would be moving SML's content to Elaina's channel following the Cease-and-Desist. In addition, he also said he would remake older SML videos using the human puppets, as the original videos (and channels) that used the Nintendo plushies needed to be deleted.[66]
Sharing pornography with minors + “#DownWithSML”[]
In November-December 2019, Logan created an "SML DramaAlert" group chat consisting entirely of himself and some underage fans. Logan then distributed and posted pornography in the chat, with images of Tito and his brother at a strip club having sexual interactions with several women. The sharing of pornographic images to minors is a crime under US law. The situation had taken place around the drama with Chilly, who would respond to the screenshots. However, she appeared to show no concern for the minors' safety, saying she was more worried that Logan had leaked the women's bodies online without permission, and that the pictures were posted in the group chat in the first place. She also stated she wasn't angry at Logan for what he did.[67]
The incident went largely unknown until it resurfaced over three years later on April 17, 2023, when a user on X (formelly Twitter) named @Mr_MasonThe2nd brought up the incident while responding to a post talking about the cheating allegations.[68] Afterward, Simon A., known for his YouTube channel Baby Lamb Creations (who previously collaborated with Lance on a video via Cameo), responded to Mason's post after being sent a video regarding the situation.[69] He expressed his disgust and contempt for what Logan had done, and would post a separate thread with alleged evidence regarding the issue, such as screenshots of when the images were posted, and confirmation from those who were said to have been some of the underage fans in the group chat when it occurred.[70] The thread quickly went viral, as due to a lack of further context, it painted the picture that Logan was a child predator; enraging many. This ultimately led to the '#DownWithSML' movement, made in contempt against Logan and to get YouTube to finally remove him from the platform, which trended on X.[71]
A user named I_D_K_M_A_N_ came forward as one of the minors who were in the group chat when Logan posted the photos.[72] A day after Simon had posted his thread regarding the allegations towards Logan, the user SML_Reviews05 would make a thread regarding the drama, where he would explain the proper context of what happened in the chat. As he explained, Logan was unaware of the fact the fans in the group chat mostly consisted of minors. He also revealed that Logan never had predatory intentions when sharing the images; as previously mentioned, the group chat was created during the Chilly drama, and the photos of Tito and the strippers were posted by Logan to give his side of the story. Additionally, Reviews05 would mention how he was added to the group chat not long after Logan had shared the photos, and has remained close friends with those who were also in it.[73]
Allegations of Art Theft[]
In August of 2023, after the upload of the SML episode "Jeffy's Balloon Company!", the YouTuber Crispy Toast would make a call-out post towards Logan on his YouTube Community Board regarding the video.[74] In the video, the business card for Jeffy's company 'Jeffy's Ass Balloons Incorporated', used Crispy Toast's fan render he had made for Jeffy in 2016 and uploaded to his Deviantart account.[75] Crispy went uncredited for his art in the video or it's description, leading him to believe that Logan had purposely used his artwork without crediting him. This resulted in Logan receiving backlash for his apparent art theft. Logan would respond to the drama in a video on Chilly's channel, in which he addresses the controversy and explains the true story. As he explained, Logan had found Crispy Toast's Jeffy render on IMGBIN, which did not credit him for his art whatsoever, therefore leaving Logan unaware of the render's origin.[76] This quickly sorted things out, and confirmed Logan did not intentionally steal Crispy's artwork. Following this, Logan added a pinned comment to Jeffy's Balloon Company, crediting Crispy for his artwork.[77]

- Logan had stated in "Meet The Cast: Lance" that Jeffy's original helmet color was going to be red. However, it was changed to blue because the creator of the Jeffy puppet only had helmets that were blue.
- In the same video, he also stated that Jeffy's design was based off an animation Logan did at high school, with the puppet having some changes such as the diaper, name on shirt, and buck teeth. Lance and Logan also briefly mentioned Crank Yankers (primarily the character Special Ed) as inspiration for Jeffy.
- Logan has met Charles Martinet, the former voice of Mario, Luigi, Wario, and Waluigi.
- Many videos once had scenes that were recorded but weren't included in the video. Two examples are a scene from 'Bowser Junior The Babysitter', and 'Bowser Junior's 10th Birthday'. The former's scene was that of Joseph and Junior having a conversation after Benjamin goes missing. The latter's depicts Junior burning the face of SpongeBob on the cover of Nickelodeon Kart Racers, due to Logan's heavy distain for the game.
- While the first scene's reasoning for being cut is unknown, the second's reason is known. The reasoning stemmed from Logan's heavy concern that many could've seen the burning of SpongeBob's face as disrespecting the legacy of Stephen Hillenburg, who had passed away only five days before the episode was uploaded. As a result, Logan changed the ending to Cody giving Junior a cupcake in order to prevent further backlash to his channel.
- The Gordon Ramsay puppet is referred to as "British Chef" on the SML Merch website due to legal reasons.
- One of the most widely believed SML theories was that the "friends" in Charleyyy & Friends were actually the audience in each episode, as the only character to ever appear in the show itself was Charleyyy. This theory would be confirmed in 'Jeffy and Junior's Big Heist!' In the video, Junior would ask Charleyyy why the audience laughs whenever he wants them to, which Charleyyy would respond with revealing the audience are his friends.
