Rodrigo Ximenes[1] (born: March 18, 1998),[2] better known online as Saiko, is a Brazilian YouTuber known for his animations about his life and playing various games.
History[]
His first channel, called "Saikanagem" (later renamed saiko.) was created on August 17, 2013. The channel originally contained gameplays or general entertainment video. The 2013-2015 videos were completely deleted by Saiko, probably due to the humor. The only undeleted video from these years was "How to dub the musical Herobrine". The animations on the channel would only start on July 25, 2016, with the video "Cocielinhos, the clones of Julio Cocielo", where Saiko talks about channels that copied Julio Cocielo's content.[3]
The video was the most viewed at the time, which ended up making his channel grow a lot. Over the years, he posted more animations. Until on December 12, 2016, he posted the video "Bad things I did at school". The video is the most viewed on his channel, and it's also the video where he introduces his best friend Ycaro. On May 4, 2017, Saiko revealed his face in the video "Face vlog" [4], where along with his friends, Ycaro and MeiaUm, he talks about reasons why he didn't want to reveal his face for a long time.
The last video on his channel was "EVERYTHING WILL CHANGE (important video)" [5], released on August 7th, 2019, where he talks about changes in his channel.
Other Channels[]
Saiko joga is a gaming channel that for a while was Saiko's main channel. There, he would post short videos of himself playing various games, usually with his friends. For a certain period of time, the channel stopped being about games and became one of general entertainment. After a big change, both in his main channel and in Saiko joga, Saiko decided to record some more gameplay until he moved the short gameplay to another channel (kksaiko). Saiko joga's content consist mainly of long gameplays, although there are general entertainment videos, such as: I bought and analised EVERY book released by YOUTUBERS (that i could find), or i was OBLIGATED to watch LITTLE BOATS the movie.
Saiko Toons was a channel where Saiko analyzed several different cartoons. The channel only contains 3 videos, two being reviews of Over The Garden Wall and Gravity Falls, and another talking about a failed return of the channel. A video analyzing Rick And Morty was posted, however, it was deleted. It is unknown if the channel will return in the future.
Dois Menes is a group gameplay channel run by Saiko and his friend, MeiaUm. The channel contained gameplays of several different games, such as GTA San Andreas, The Sims 4, Stardew Valley, among others. The last video posted was the ninth episode of the Stardew Valley series, posted on June 1, 2020. It is unknown if Saiko and MeiaUm will return with the channel, as Saiko has taken part in another group gameplay channel, called JogandoFodacci, with fellow creators GEMAPLYS and Carteiro Cósmico.
kksaiko is a channel of short gameplays created in 2021, after Saiko decided to make more detailed gameplays in Saiko joga. So far, this is Saiko's main channel, although Saiko joga is uploading weekly.

Saiko X Ycaro Controversy[]
Saiko and Ycaro have been close friends since childhood and were often referred to as "boyfriends." When they began recording videos together, many fans began pressuring them to date. The situation became so overwhelming that their girlfriends were even threatened. [6]

- Saiko has a cat named "Greg". His name is inspired by Greg from "Over The Garden Wall";
- Saiko has also made a tattoo with the characters of "Over The Garden Wall";
- Saiko used to be part of a group gameplay channel called "JogandoFoddaci", along with GEMAPLYS and Carteiro Cósmico, though stopped participating as often to focus on his main channels.
- Saiko was a content creator for a Shitpost page called "Mene Suecos" when he was younger;
- This is the reason why his name on Twitter and Instagram is "SaikoMene"[7];
- When he was 16 years old, Saiko created an account called "Rafa Cebolinha" on Twitter, using a photo of Cebolinha (Jimmy Five), from Monica's Gang. The goal was to be a fake account that made troll posts[8];
