Gamze Nursery Rhymes (formerly Salih Reis’in Dünyası) is a Turkish former YouTube channel focusing on child entertainment videos revolving around a mentally insane father named Muhammet and his two children, a son named Salih (born: 2013 [age 10–11]) and a daughter named Gamze (born: 2006 [age 17–18]).

History

In December 2018, the channel was one of the fastest growing YouTube channels, gaining over 700 million total views and an estimated of 2.1 million subscribers per month. However, in January 2019 their daily views suddenly dropped from 30 million to 1.5 million daily, despite most of the channel's videos staying up.

Controversies

Inappropriate content

Salih's father has been accused of uploading inappropriate content targeted at children to increase the number of views and subscribers and exploit Salih's popularity. Their channel has been described as "strange", due to the unawareness of the parent's target audience.

In addition, the content featured in the videos was not audited for appropriateness. YouTube decided to close Salih Reis' Dünyası and many channels that produce content for children in early 2019.

• The channel was one of the victims of the Elsagate crackdown in late November 2017, but it was formerly terminated about 1.5 years later on June 8th, 2019, but she was later reinstated after 5 years.
• The channel was formerly terminated by YouTube on June 8, 2019 due to multiple or severe violations of YouTube's policy against spam, deceptive practices, and misleading content or other Terms of Service violations. The channel had 15 million subscribers at the time of the former termination, but she is reinstated with no handle.
• The name of the father was Muhammed when a Youtuber named Ahmet Akbıyık uploaded a video on March 3, 2023 explaining about its horror of a formerly-terminated channel.
