Selen Tatsuki (セレン 龍月) (birthday: November 30) was a Hong Kong-Canadian VTuber once affiliated with Nijisanji EN's second generation group known as OBSYDIA, alongside Rosemi Lovelock and Petra Gurin.[4]

Selen debuted on July 17, 2021, with a chatting stream. The chatting stream revealed that her favorite anime/manga were Keroro Gunso, Aggretsuko, Death Note, Mameshiba, The World Only God Knows, Panty and Stocking, Puella Magi Madoka Magica, Pretty Cure, Magical Girl Raising Project, Transformers and her favorite movies were Transformers, Kungfu Hustle and The Liar Game. It also revealed that her favorite games were Spyro , Heroes of Might and Magic, Starcraft, Apex, GMOD (Trouble in Terrorist Town, Jailbreak), arcade shooters, Splatoon, Pajama Sam & Freddi Fish, Dynasty Warriors and Zoo Tycoon and her favorite bands/music were Daft Punk, Wonder Girls, Caravan Palace and Maximum the Hormone, and she also favored Disney and musicals. When asked for her likes, she replied that she liked dubble waffles, being awake at 3 in the morning, winning, green tea, cheese and that her dislikes were bugs, animatronics, sunlight, swimming, bodies of water and mathematics. The stream also revealed that her hobbies were volleyball, drawing, keyboards and making bento boxes.
She has a reputation for being a skilled APEX Legends player and frequently collaborating in tournaments. Selen also plays children's games like Peppa Pig on stream.
On the day of debuting, Selen, Rosemi and Petra sang an original song, Black Out.[5] It was written and composed by TeddyLoid, with additional help from Ryushen. She also demonstrated her artistic abilities by drawing all of Nijisanji as dragons.[6] On July 18th, she released her first animation.[7]
On 20th of July she streamed her first game, APEX Legends, which makes up most of her channel's content, and she has collaborated with VTubers outside of Nijisanji such as Froot, Zentreya and Iida Pochi to play it. She has also played Starcraft, Little Nightmares, Don't Starve Together, Serious Sam, Metal Slug, the Resident Evil series, Shovel Knight, Onimusha, Kill It With Fire and Minecraft. She also hosts drawing streams and does try not to laugh challenges.

Selen beat Redshell and XQcOW in Overwatch.[9]
Selen and Mumei were friends before they began their respective VTuber careers and once thought they were going to be joining under the same agency.[10]

Selen's character designer is Kamamesigogo Maru,[11] who also designed Elira Pendora.
Lore[]
A sky dragon descended from the moon. She has a gentle heart hidden underneath her mischievous nature, like the glow of the moon on a cloudy night. Her race is Lunar Sky Dragon and her profession is dragon tamer/racer. Her dragon is named Ember, and he is one of her top dragons in training.

- Selen's mother is said to be a dragon, while her father is said to be a human. However, she has trouble keeping her human form.
- She has the ability to shift between both her dragon and semi-human forms at will.

- She once unironically dumped multiple diamonds into lava in Minecraft.
- She is 160cm.
- She speaks English, French, Chinese (Cantonese) and a little Korean.
- She has a dashchund named Ember.[20]
- She is a huge fan of Puella Magi Madoka Magica and Pokemon to the point she owns a lot of merchandise of them both, ranging from keychains to stands. Her favourite Pokemon is Sylveon.
- Her Nijisanji application was quite simple, consisting of a short recording in Windows Movie Maker and an application written in 30 minutes. She was not confident in her editing skills, but thanks to her friend's encouragement, she decided to apply anyway and got in.
