Background and History[]

Shinyodd is a Northern Irish Automation car building streamer, racing game reviewer, and Forza content creator. He is most famous for his Forza Funny Montage series that started in October 2016 and ended on April 14 2019. Spanning 2 games, the FFM series was and still is the most popular series ever made by Shinyodd.

Current Life[]

His most recent endeavors consist of his Twitch Automation creations. Automation is a videogame where you can create, modify and customize your own cars, or you can recreate real-life cars. BeamNG.Drive is a car simulator that is most famous for its crash physics, along with the ability to import Automation cars into it. The streams work with the basic principle that the Twitch stream chat is tasked with choosing parts and accessories for the cars they build. Most of the cars are collectively called "abominations", while some are considered "ok".

He also makes reviews on racing games, including Rieza's popular sim racing game Automobilista 2, and an indie racing game called Corona MotorSport, created by Luke Japaridze and developed by LucasGame Studios.

Hiatus[]

Shinyodd became inactive on YouTube for over a year, posting the last video before his break on the 10th of April 2021, "The WORST Bootleg Car Products From Wish..." However he did stay active on his second channel "Drara" uploading 10 videos, one of them being uploaded on the same day as the haitus started "BIG CHUNGUS SENDS HIS REGARDS" while on haitus of his main channel.

Although after 20 months off the main channel, on the 10th of December 2022, he posted a new video titled, "The Mystery of RACER.NL | The Game That DISAPPEARED..." He explained his absence at the end of the video, claiming he, "Really missed uploading to this channel, but I'm also happier that I decided to step away for a while." He also went on to say he believed the, "Obsession with success and statistics was ruining something that I once did for fun," and that the break helped him, "Find the motivation to return for fun again."

Full Quote[]

"It has been exactly 20 months since my last upload... I really missed uploading to this channel, but I'm also happier that I decided to step away for a while. I think my obsession with success and statistics was ruining something that I once did for fun. Taking a break allowed me to find the motivation to return for fun again, and make what I enjoy. Not sure what the channel's future will be, but whatever it is, I'll make sure to prioritise that I am happy above all else, regardless of success. It's good to be back ladies and gentlemen. Thanks for watching"
