Siam Alam is a YouTube content creator who is best known for his videos about malware analysis. He initially started with windows related tutorials back in 2014 and transitioned to malware demonstrations in 2017 after discovering custom made malware such as Memz. He has developed a strong interest in malware analysis over the last few years. Currently, he's focusing on making demonstrations of real-world malware in order to raise awareness.

About[]

There is currently very little information available about him on the internet. Members of his Discord Community believe he is a teenager or in his early twenties. The only confirmed information that was found is that his birthday is on 24th of November. It's also difficult to find the "real Siam Alam" because he has multiple personalities and prefers to hang around without drawing too much attention. Furthermore, there is no confirmation of his current location or even the country in which he resides.

Content style[]

All of his videos follow a similar pattern. According to his most recent response on the S. A. Discord Community, he uses OBS to screen record and DaVinci Resolve for editing. In his videos, he uses screen subtitles to explain things. Adobe After Effects for intro & outro sequence. To fill the silence, he used to compose his own music at one point, but due it being a tedious work, he began using synthwave, chillwave, electronica and techno genre music from a variety of underrated artists.

Series[]

Siam Alam has created a few exclusive series for his channel, including FMV (Fan-Made Virus) and AV-Test (Anti-Virus Testing). Aside from that, he experimented with some mini series such as "Garbage Malware" and "Windows Experiments" to diversify his content. He sometimes does Linux related videos, software reviews, and, on rare occasions, Android or MacOS malware demonstrations.

FMV[]

FMV currently has 98 episodes, and he says he has no plans to continue it any time soon. The FMV series had the most impact on the malware community and essentially served as a continuation of Danooct1's VMM (Viewer-Made Malware).

AV-Test[]

AV-Test currently has 46 episodes, and he says that he doesn't plan to continue these anymore. The AV-Test series is about Siam experimenting malware against an antivirus named Avast, as it is known as the most powerful antivirus software.

Collaborations[]

Siam is also close friends with Leurak (creator of memz), who has shared a few of his other projects with him exclusively, and with twitch streamer Vargskelethor Joel.
