Visage - Anime Waifu vs The Scariest Game Ever - Part 1

Silvervale (born: August 12, 1997 (1997-08-12)) is an American independent VTuber. She is primarily active on Twitch.

On November 24, 2020, Silvervale joined the agency VShojo. However, on April 26, 2023, VShojo tweeted that Silvervale and Veibae chose not to renew their contracts with them, therefore becoming independent.

Content

Silvervale's first video is of her playing Visage as part of her 24 hour birthday stream, titled "Visage - Anime Waifu vs The Scariest Game Ever - Part 1", followed by an MMD of Deep Blue Town. Her channel has clips of her playing Dead by Daylight, Layers of Fear, Honkai: Star Rail, Stray, Super Bunny Man and Subnautica as well. In these games she is known for her excessive bloodlust, especially in horror games, despite her tendency to scream and get scared easily. Her favorite games include Okami, Little Nightmares, and Final Fantasy XIV.

In her MMDs she stands out due to her pastel goth appearance, though she has also worn multiple alternate outfits to her avatar including butterfly dress, playboy bunny, pirate, nurse, magical girl, reindeer and maid, even cosplaying as Lisa from Genshin Impact once. She has also stated that she wanted to create an album of Japanese style lo-fi hip-hop before performing a virtual concert with other VShojo members.

Collaborations

She, Ironmouse, and Projekt Melody host Lewdcast, an anime-themed podcast where they talk about various subjects. After Veibae joined VShojo, she and Silvervale had a wedding in a VR Ceremony officiated by Nyatasha Nyanners.

She has played Pico Park with VYUGEN, yenkoes, TheCecile and Omi.

On 29 November 2021, it was announced that Silver was one of the many VTubers featured at the VILLS concert.

On December 1, 2021, Crunchyroll interviewed Silvervale.

Design

Her character designer is jjinomu. Her second model was made by Yoclesh. Her third model was made by Nanoless and rigged by KevinX.

She is a wolf girl, and gets upset when anyone calls her a neko or a kitsune.

Hogwarts Legacy stream

In February 2023, Silvervale streamed herself playing Hogwarts Legacy. This led to accusations of transphobia, due to J. K. Rowling having a history of making tweets where she aligned herself with the TERF movement. This led to people flooding her chat and accusing her of being a transphobe, amongst other abusive messages. Fellow VShojo member Froot also claimed that playing the game was harmful to transgender people. These accusations would increase when it was found out that the word "trans" was muted in her chat (though that was because of the Twitch auto-mod).

Silvervale was harassed to the point of tears. She later held a stream, while crying, explaining that she had been a huge Harry Potter fan ever since she was a child and playing the game was a way to live out her childhood fantasy of being at Hogwarts. She also expressed worry about her friends being doxxed for playing the game. A large part of the VTuber community, and some outside of it, would mock her for crying.

This harassment was condemned by many other streamers including xQcOw, ironmouse, Pippa Pipkin, and Asmongold, the latter of whom called her harassers "literal fucking garbage" and "vicious little pussies".

When Russia invaded Ukraine, all 7 members of VShojo's first generation collaborated with charity Project Hope to raise medical supplies to assist Ukrainians.

Silvervale has a twin brother, who introduced her to anime, and she has a close relationship with her mother, who moderates her stream's chats.

• Her community is called the Petal Pals and her subscribers are dubbed the Petal Pups.
• As the name Silvervale was taken, she began streaming on Twitch in 2019 under the name X_Silvervale_X, switching to Siivervale on 1 August 2019 and capitalizing the 2nd I to look like a lowercase L. This lead to confusion for people trying to find/raid her channel. She gained the proper spelling to her name upon making Twitch partner at the end of her 12 hour 2020 birthday stream.
